Liam's Point of View:

You missed your chance mate a voice said in my head as I walked into my room, sitting on my bed. I was going to tell her that I loved her but I don't think I can say it to her face. I will have to do it sometime. Hopefully before the interviews tomorrow.

Lauren's Point of View:

I paced around nervously in my dress for the interview, what if I say something wrong? No no don't think that way Lauren, pull yourself togther you will be fine.

Cinna walked over to me 'You okay?'

I nodded 'Yeah, just nervous'

'You will be fine trust me, your the girl on fire' he smiled.

I couldn't help it but smile back.

'Where's Liam?' I asked.

'He will be here in a second, he's talking to Portia'

I nodded slowly.

After about five minutes we were joined by Liam, who looked handsome in a suit, I smiled when I saw him.

'Hey' he said.

'Hey, you look um nice'

'Is that a compliment miss larkin?'

'Yeah i guess it is'

'You look nice yourself'

'Thanks'

Caesar Flickerman started the show, his hair was mad blue colour, which he dyes it every time for the games, a different colour each year.

He went through each district girl first, boy second.

I was feeling even more nervous when the boy from eleven went on. I glanced back at Liam nervously.

'You will be fine' he mouthed to me as the boy left the stage.

'Now its to district twelve and up first is the one they call the girl on fire, Miss Lauren Larkin!'

I gulped and walked onto the stage nervously, the light blinded me as I got on, helped a little as I couldn't see all the people.

I was greeted by Caesar and I sat down.

It wasn't so bad as we talked, I was more relaxed now than I was before I got onstage.

I wooed the crowd, making them cheer as I twirled showing some flames of my dress.

The crowd seemed to like me.

Liam's Point of View:

I was next now being last, now a little nerve recking. Lauren did well.

As I was introduced I walked on and was greeted by Caesar.

We talked and then Caesar asked me 'So Liam, tell us is there a lucky girl in your life?'

My heart began to race, 'Um well no.. but I do like someone, I have liked this girl for a very long time but I don't think she recognised me until the reaping'

'Well tell you this Liam, You win this years games and go back to your district and of course the girl will fall for you'

'Well if it was that easy, the girl I like is actually here with me'

Lauren's Point of View:

I bit my lip watching from the next room, He likes me? I couldn't help it but blush but I snapped out of it No Lauren! Don't be liking him.. Maybe he's doing this to make me look weak!

Liam walked out the stage to the room I was in and I charged at him, pushing him full force against the wall where a glass picture hung that smashed into pieces 'What the hell?! what were you thinking?!'

'I-I-I'

'What are you doing Lauren?' Haymitch said in a snarl.

'He made me look weak!'

'No he didn't now just relax' he said calming his voice now.

I let go of Liam, now feeling bad now that his hand was bleeding from me pushing him against the glass. 'Sorry' I muttered but Liam didn't hear me as he walked off with Portia.
