i have so much anxiety 24/7 and here are some ways i deal with my anxiety:
• look at clouds, this helps me a lot
• pay complete attention to something you would usually do on autopilot (brushing your teeth, eating, getting dressed, etc.)
• meditation, this works really well for me
• take slow, deep breaths
• stretch your muscles, it keeps you calm and focused
• washing your face with cold water makes you feel refreshed and focused
• go on airplane mode, to get away from social media for a while
• listen to your favorite music to block out the world for a while
• go sit outside and listen to the sounds
• check in with your emotions and sit quietly and name, without judgment, what you are feeling
• or write out your thoughts and feelings
• pet an animal, it's scientifically proven that petting animals makes you calmer and happier
• talk to and surround yourself with people who make you feel loved, accepted, and safe
don't let anxiety own your life. you own your life.
