A couple weeks later
Thursday, August 22nd
Harper's P.O.V.
I am doing better. I have been doing physical therapy, because its been almost a month since I was last walking. So I am forced to use a walker. I cannot take anymore cutting, poking, and prodding. But the honest last thing from that night I remember is being stabbed and vaguely being shot. I should've listened to Eli. My mother means no good. She never cared about me. I have question for God on why would he make her a mother if she doesn't even care.
I was just sitting there staring at the ceiling is what I do most hours throughout the day since I woke up.
I hear my husbands voice.
"How are doing today?" he asked and leaned down and kissed me on my forhead
"Good, where are the kids?"I asked
"At school, then my parents are going to pick them up and they want might come by after school." he explained
3 days later
Harper's P.O.V.
Sunday, August 25th
Its 2:00p and I am being discharged today. The doctor is going to come in and go over some discharge information with me and Eli. Eli helped me to put on my black joggers, a red Atlanta Hawks T-shirt, and white comme de garçons converse. Eli had came this morning in his black jeans, red adidas t-shirt, and some slip on vans.
Eli was packing up my bags, and going to take them to the car. My body is still really sore. My range of motion is limited. Its going to be hard not able to pick up my baby girl and all.
"I'm just so that glad you are better" Eli said kissing me on my head
"Yeah me too" I said
There was a knock on the door and then the doctor came in.
"I see your already to go home" he said
"Yes I am" I replied
"Well I have some rules for you for lack of a better words " he said sitting down on the bed next to me
"Well doc thats going to be hard for her, she doesn't follow rules very well. She usually gives the rules." Eli said with a smile
"Your going to have to abide by my instructions. Physical Therapy 2-3 times a week. Just take it easy." he said
"Here is pain medication prescription" he said I looked down at it, and it was oxycontin and hydrocodone prescriptions.
The doctor and I signed my discharge papers. Eli had went down and got the car and pulled it around to the front. A nurse wheeled me downstairs and I got in the car. And he drove off to our house. So many memories painful ones and happy ones.
"What is the first thing your going to do?" he asked me
"Kiss my kids. And just get in the bed." I said
We drove a few more feet and Eli turned.
"Eli where are we going?" I asked
"I have a surprise for you, so take this tie and tie it around your eyes." he said smiling and his dimples were showing
I tied it around my eyes. He grabbed my hand and kissed it. I just realized my ring was missing.
"Eli, where is my ring?" I asked
"Just wait till we get to the surprise" he replied
Is he upgrading my ring? We drove for a little while longer. Something was punched in and I heard another manly voice and then the car came to a stop.
"I'm going to come around and help you" he said
He came and opened my door. I grabbed his hand and eased out the car. Then he guided me to where I need to stand. And then put his hands in on my shoulder and turned my body.
"1, 2, 3" he said
He pulled off the blindfold and once my eyes cleared to see the actual image. It was the house that I wanted to buy.
"Eli how and why?" I asked
"I know your aware of what happened a few weeks ago and I couldn't let you go back and each day you walk around or in you have to reminder. So I made some things shake and bought one.
There is a gate around the entire property. There is 24/7 front gate security. We have security cameras in every possible place you could think. Top of the line security system and response time is immaculate. Safe room that has a steel door and plexi glass to look out of. This is all for you." Eli said
"Your too good to me" I said as he leaned his head on my shoulder then I turned my head and kissed him
We walked to the front door of the house and Eli unlocked the door and walked inside and it was actually decorated quite nicely.
And everything was in place. I heard the pitter patter of the kids. Jackson and Diamond and Alicia and dad came around the corner with Olivia.
I walked over to the couch and sat down. I slowly eased down still because of the pain. Jackson and Diamond came and sat next to me.
I held my hands out for Olivia and Dad sat her in my lap. She was sitting and looking at me.
"It's been too long love bug" I said kissing her all over her face and she smiled and I saw her teeth
"She has teeth coming in?" I asked
"Yes and you thought newborn crying was rough oh teething baby is worse." Eli said
After greeting everyone I made my way upstairs and took a nice long bath and then the kids piled in bed we watched "Turning Red"

OMG guys where has the time gone!!! Update happening. Been working going to school. Trying to start a business but those are just excuses. So I am going to be honest its just been time consuming.
