Simone
"Hey babe."

"Wassup?"

"Did you ever get that building you wanted for your dance studio?"

"Yeah I got it."

"Have you thought of a name for it?"

"Not yet, I'm still thinking."

"Well let me know if you need some help because you know I'm good at coming up with names."

"I'll keep you in mind."

"Are you even listening to me?"

"Y-yeah I'm listen- ah man see that's what I'm talking bout man. Folks be cheating on this game."

I got up from position on the couch and hit him with a pillow.

"Why you hitting me with pillows." He yelled out to me.

"Because you ain't listening that's why."

"I am listening baby. Aye I need you to come back in here, babe. I'm losing the game and I need my good luck charm...babe."

"She gone."

He started laughing to himself.

I guess he got tired of playing the game because a few minutes later he came in the room and laid beside me.

"You know when I was gone and we were on FaceTime and you promised me something."

"What I promised you?"

"My dance." His lips started making their way to the side of my neck while his hand crept up my shirt.

"Um babe we can't do that."

"Why not? You pregnant?"

"No. My um friend decided to visit me this week."

"But I thought she didn't come to end of the month or the beginning of next month?"

"I guess she decided to make an unexpected visit. I'm sorry baby if I ruined your plans."

"It's alright, it's not your fault she wanted to visit early." He sighed as he sat up in the bed. "You need something from the store?"

"Yes, I want my watermelon sour patch kids, hot cheetos the lime kind, strawberry lemonade and a large cup of ice."

"That's it?"

"Yes."

"What about your pads, you don't need them?" He asked me as he went into the closet.

"Nah I have some."

"Alright. I'll be back shortly." He kissed me on my forehead and left out.

"Okay."

When I heard the door being closed and locked, I fell back on the bed and semi screamed. Out of all things I could've told that man I just had to lie on my monthly.

I sighed and picked up my phone to call Bianca.

"Hello."
