Today was a free day in Mr. Wayne's class he had some papers to grade and the students had already finished projects they had to do for him.

"Woodyyy give me my gummy bears." Simone whined

"Girl I don't have your gummy bears. What are you talking about?"

"Yes you do now give em here."

"Sis you wanna me to go get em for you?"

"Yes sis go get em."

Bianca walked over to him and snatched him up by his collar on his shirt. "Girl what's wrong with you?" Woody asked looking shocked & confused.

"Aye cuh run me them pockets cuh?"

"Aye aye hold up you better back up off that one." Keith said as him & the guys jumped up.

"And what y'all New Edition wanna be nigxas gon do?" She looked at them up & down and then turned around.

They surrounded her like they was about jump her.

"Aye Amber." She yelled

"I got yo back suh." She jumped on Keith's back and hit the top of his head. Then Simone & Madison jumped in.

"Hey hey hey I said y'all can have a free day not tear my classroom up. Amber get off the boy back." Mr. Wayne said

"Sorry Mr. Wayne we was just playing around."

"I see and Woody give Simone her food." Simone stuck her tongue out and Woody mugged her and jumped at her.

"Dwayne Dwayne!"

The door opened and in came Whitley Gilbert Wayne.

"Heyyyy Ms. G." Woody waved at her and smiled goofily

"Goodbye Edward." Everyone laughed

"Goodbye? Ms. G I thought I was your favorite student."

"Well you thought wrong." She fake smiled and laughed. "I'm just playing with you Woody you know I love you no matter how much you annoy me in class."

He chuckled and smiled "I know."

The students began to talk amongst themselves and Wayne & Gilbert also talked amongst themselves until a hard knock was sound on the classroom door.

"Now who is that doing all that knocking like they the police?" Elijah asked

Dwayne went to the door and open it while standing in the doorway.

"Um yes gentlemen may I help you guys?" He asked looking from both men standing in front of him.

"Yes you can do you have a Edward McClain in this class?"

"Yes I do do you guys need to-"

Before he could finish his sentence the two officers barged in.

"Now excuse me sir you can't just barge in here I need you to-"

"Edward McClain." The officer asked

Woody lifted his hand. "I'm him."

The two officers looked at each other and then walked towards him and snatched him up out of his seat making the chair fall backwards and causing a scene.

Woody looked confused as they looked at each other then looked at him. And once they snatched him up he was fully alerted and ready to fight then they grabbed him roughly.

"You're under arrest for assault, carrying a firearm & possession of marijuana & cocaine. Anything you say or do can be used against in the court of law. If you do not have a lawyer we will provide you with one."

The girls screamed "oh my gosh" & cried trying to get Woody loose, the guys were yelling "they didn't have to snatch him up like that" and "they were being unnecessary" also trying to get him loose while the other students also tried to help get him loose & some just stood off to the side.

Once the officers got the cuffs on him they walked him to his car and headed to the county jail.

Everyone sat there motionless and in a state of shock.

"Someone please tell me that what just happened didn't really happen and it was all just a horrible dream that for some odd reason I can't wake up from right now." Simone said

"I wish it was." Luke mumbled with his head and his forearms on his knees and his hands clasped together.

"NO LUKE! There is no wish, it WAS a bad dream. Tell me it was bad dream that I can wake up from." Simone demanded, her voice cracked with tears at the brim of her eyes threatened to fall.

The girls ran to her and hugged her as she cried and fell to her knees.

Woody & Simone been best friends forever. Whenever you saw one you saw the other, when something was wrong Simone something was wrong with Woody & vic verse, whenever someone picked on one the other one was not far behind and ready to fight.

Right now Simone was hurting and unfortunately there wasn't anything Woody could do to heal her from this pain.

"Um you guys class is dismissed for today you guys can um you can..leave." Mr. Wayne said with his hand on his forehead and sighing.

"Also I'll email your other professors and tell them something happened and to excuse you from class."

Everyone nodded their heads, grabbed their things and left.

Simone laid in bed still in shock of what happened. Her best friend is gone to jail three days before the holiday break. Last week they both agreed to have dinner at their parents house now what is she supposed to tell his mom when she goes to see him.

"Sisi it's 11:15 and you haven't ate since 10 this morning and you ate fruit snacks in class, do you want something to eat?" Simone shook her head staring at the wall.

Bianca sighed "okay well I have to go take some papers to one of my professors and I'm going to go check up on the guys and see how they're doing and then I'll be back. If you need me before then please please call me, okay? I love you." She kissed the side of her head.

"Love you more." Simone mumbled then pulled the covers over her head.

Bianca hated seeing her best friend hurt, in pain, mad & sad. She was always happy & putting smiles on people's faces & making everyone happy now she's sad. And Bianca hates that there's nothing she could do.

I know it's short but I finally came up with something because I had writers block for a hot little minute but in the words of Bryson Tiller "I'm back & im better" lol just bare with me while I get this story together.
Also happy birthday to my best friend (in my head lol don't judge me)/one of my new faves, Edward "Woody" McClain!!! I hope he enjoys his day and I wish him many more to come. Also I'm so proud of everything he's accomplished/still accomplishing.
