Chapter 38: Runaway Bride

I was laying on the bed, my eyeliner smudged. My nose was red and I kept sniffling. My eyes were full of tears and sadness. How can one be so dull before her wedding day? I was lost in my own sea of thoughts. Tomorrow I was getting married to a man I don't love, and the one I do love...well, I let him slip out of my hands. Even if maybe I couldn't be with him, him being there was all I need. My phone rang with the ringtone 'We don't talk anymore' as I was about to grab it, I realised how much I could relate to it... I didn't answer my phone, but instead, fell asleep in my tears.

I was awoken by the stupid alarm clock at 7:00am. It was my wedding day. My breath hitched as I put on a smile. What am I doing? I'm thinking of another man when I love the man I'm about to marry...I think...
The wedding would be a church wedding, then we'd all go to the after party.

After a while I was finally ready for my wedding...

I took a deep breath and stepped onto the isle, the music playing. Everyone got up and was staring at me. I began walking up to the isle when I stopped in my tracks.
"What am I doing...?" I muttered, unable to think. I dropped my bouquet of flowers. Aurelia came up to me. "Are you okay, mummy?"
Vage walked up to me.
"Don't do it, Blaze" He spoke.
"W-what?" I whispered, confused. "I love you!"
He side smiled. "But you love him more. And, I know how you feel..."
I let him continue. "I love you, Blaze. But I love Cassie more"
Everyone cheered. Cassie stood there, at the top of the isle, and she sighed, heavily but with a teared smile.
"What are you waiting for, go after him!" Cassie squealed.
I smiled at the idea, but it then disappeared. "He's gone..."
Vage shook his head, and showed me the planes to London. I had half an hour to get to the airport and stop him from leaving. I took off my heels and my veil, which ruined my hair and made it fall down.
"Mummy, are you going to rescue daddy?" She asked.
I smiled. "Mhmm. I'm going to rescue him..."
She gave me a tight hug, whispering. "Go get him mummy..." I ran, barefoot onto the streets, it would take too long to get a taxi, so I grabbed the first bike I could find, not a motorbike, a BIKE. I pedalled as fast as I could, breathing heavily. Let him not be gone...
I got there at the airport and looked around. People were looking at me bewildered. I held my dress up a little and ran to terminal 4, where he would be boarding in five minutes. I couldn't find him. I took a deep breath, until some idiot bumped into me, causing both of us to fall down.
"You should REALLY watch where you're going!" He growled.
I scoffed. "You have got to be shitting me right now"
I turned around to see who it was.
"You're right, I'm sorry" Ashton whispered, pulling me closer. Our foreheads touched as we breathed heavily.
"You came back for me" he muttered.
I nodded my head. "Kiss me"
He smiled, and caresses my cheek. Then he moved a few strands of hair out of my face, pulling me into a passionate, yet sweet kiss. My hands travelled up to his chest and his hands rested on my waist.
"You look beautiful" he smiled. I flushed slightly. "Shut up.."
"I have something to give to you...come with me" he whispered. I did as I was told and followed him to a beautiful church.

We were now at the church, inside. Just me and him. He opened a box to reveal a necklace with a cross. Our hands intertwined together as the priest wrapped the necklace around our hands.
"I promise to love you forever, to protect you, to love you and never look at anyone else in my life. I promise one day...one day I'll marry you..." he spoke. I could see the happiness in his eyes as we had another wonderful kiss.
I had finally found my Prince Charming... maybe happily ever afters do exist after all...

A/N: Hey everyone, sooo I decided to end it here as it matches with the beginning of Intrigue Par Vous. Yes, this is now the end of Intrigue Par Vous, but Xylon's Revenge will start next, and will include your favourite characters! Blaze, Ashton, and Aurelia the most. And when this story is finished, Aurelia will have her own story! I really do want to thank all of you...and I have a few questions.
