Chapter 34: Daddy Falls

ASHTON'S POV:

I looked at my daughter. I felt so guilty, it didn't help that Blaze kept it a secret too. How could she?!

"Why didn't you tell me?! I had a right to know, I'm her father for God sake!" I bellowed. She turned away from me, folding her arms. "Well?!"

She faced me, raging with anger. "How could I tell you?! You were getting married! I didn't want to ruin things, and your stupid wife knew too, so how the hell did she go FIVE YEARS without telling you, that you had a child!?" She hissed back. "Your WIFE is the reason I spent the rest of my pregnancy out on the streets, with no food, so honestly Ashton? SHOVE IT UP YOUR ASS!" She shrieked. I noticed Aurelia standing by the door with Sarah. Sarah looked angry, Aurelia was sniffling.

"Mommy...are you fighting over me?" She whispered. I felt guilty, she was obviously very smart. Blaze comforted he-our daughter. I ruffled my hair in embarrassment. Blaze sighed and gestured me to come in. I followed, and sat down in the living room, waiting for her. She went to the kitchen.

"Can I get you a drink?" She asked.

"I'm fine, thanks" I replied.

She sat down with her hot chocolate, with whipped cream on the top. Typical Blaze.

"She's...beautiful" I smiled weakly. "You've done a great job mothering her"

She chuckled, thanking me.

"We got off to a bad start...I'm sorry. I want her to be able to trust both of her parents... can we be friends?" She sighed.

I nodded, agreeing.

"Soooo...how's Adri?" She asked.

"She's...another story. I made a mistake marrying her. She's cheating on me, but I've accepted it" I muttered.

"Oh, that's horrible...I'm sorry" She bit her lip in pity.

"What about you?" I questioned.

"Oh- I haven't...been with anyone since you. I have to work, and provide for Lia" She smiles.

I got out my wallet. I put down £500. "Here" I also left her my number. I had to get going, we'd definitely keep in touch...for our daughter.

BLAZE'S POV:

The next day, I went to the clubhouse around noon, with Aurelia. There was also a park nearby. I brought a picnic basket with me, filled with water, tropical juice, and some nutella sandwiches...don't judge me. I decided to text Ashton to meet us here.

Me: Hey, me and Lia are at the park near clubhouse

Ashton is typing...

Ash: Sure :) cya there

Me: Really? You're texting me like you were in highschool

Ash: I can't be asked...

Me: What are you? 16? xD

Ash: -.-

Me: Shit ._.

Ash: :P Behind you

I looked behind me and shrieked. "ASHTON?! YOU IDIOT"

He burst out in laughter. I ran after him with a wooden stick, playfully. But clumsy me fell over.
"Mommy!" Aurelia shrieked with laughter. She lay down next to me and we looked at the clouds.
"Tell mommy what shapes you see" I smiled. Ashton too laid down with us. It was a beautiful day.
"Mommy...who's he?" Lia asked. We sat up.
"Remember I told you that daddy had to go away for a while?" I smiled weakly. "He's back now"
Her eyes widened. "Mommy are you his Princess?"
"Oh-uh n-" I was interrupted.
Ashton answered. "YES. We um- lived happily ever after"
