ZAYNE'S POV:

Blaze avoided me for the rest of the week, and as for our project? We had until the end of the year. We had ONE more week to do this project. It was now Tuesday. The project was due Friday. I grabbed my phone and sighed. Going through my contact list, I realised I didn't have Blaze's number.

"Fuck" I muttered. I threw on a plain white shirt and faded out jeans. I decided to go and do the project at Blaze's house. I knocked on the door and her sister answered.

"Oh hey Zayne. How can I help you?" She questioned.

"Is Blaze here?" I asked. She opened the door, letting me in.

"Second door on the left, upstairs" She called out.

"Thanks" I replied. I made my way upstairs. Her door was wide open. She was reading a book. I watched as she studied and read the book in full concentration. Then I looked at her. She wore a black tank top and baggy leggings. Her hair was braided and it was on the side of her shoulders. A bit of hair slightly fell on her face, I smiled. She then turned away and began reading again. Why not scare her? I thought. I switched off the light and went inside, silently closing the door.

"H-Hello?" She whispered. I slowly wrapped my hands around her and she jumped. She turned around, her eyes opening widely as she looked at me. We stayed like that for what it seemed like hours.

"I-I didn't tell anyone..." She whispered.

I replied. "I know"

She looked at the time, so did I. 8:17pm.

"Why are you here?" She asked, avoiding eye contact with me.

"The project" I answered.

She got a piece of paper and smiled weakly. "It's done" She turned away from me and I pulled her back, gently.

"No, let's do it again. This time, together" I spoke, nearly whispering. She smiled happily and got out her notebook which had ideas. After two hours, we had finished the poem.

A/N: This is not a poem I wrote. I am using it for Blaze and Zayne. Let's just pretend that they wrote it. Also I can't do accents on this computer so please forgive me.

Life By Anonymous

(English Translation First)

Life is an opportunity, benefit from it.

Life is a tragedy, confront it.

Life is a challenge, meet it.

Life is sorrow, overcome it.

Life is a struggle, accept it.

Life is an adventure, dare it.

Life is beauty, admire it.

Life is too precious, do not destroy it.

Life is life, so fight for it.

I read the poem, over and over again. I smiled and looked at her, realising she was sleeping. I picked her up in bridal style and gently laid her under the covers of her bed. Tucking her in I realised something. How much this girl meant to me.
