Chapter 17: Date On Monday

I stared at him, my heart melting. The doorbell rang again and I glanced at the front door then looked at him again.
"Uh...you should get that" he sighed.
I opened my mouth. "Yeah"
I ran downstairs and opened the door. There was a man at the door delivering the pizza. I gave him the money and thanked him for the food. I crept upstairs to see Ashton deep in thought. I coughed and his attention turned to me.
"Sorry I was just thi-" he stammered.
"It's fine, really" I interrupted him. We sat down and ate in silence. Wow, awkward much? I thought to myself.
"Will you go on a date with me?" He asked, out of the blue.
"A date?" I bit my lip nervously.
"It'll be fun, I can see your not the type to dress up for a special dinner" he smiled.
"How did you know?" I queried in curiosity.
"I...pay attention...a lot" he chuckled.
I giggled. "Sure, when?"
"Well it's Friday today...Are you free Monday?" He asked, eyes beaming. He was eager to take me out!
I thought for a moment. "Yeah. Monday's great"
"Cool!" He replied. "I'll give you my number now" The rest of the evening we just joked around. It was fun. Like VERY fun. I haven't felt like this in a long time. We both heard the door open.
"Shit!" I whispered. "Sneak out the window"
"Oh your sister is here" he whispered back. I nodded.
"Blaze?" She called out. "Who are you talking to?" Fuck I thought. I opened the window and hurried for him to climb out. I kissed his cheek quickly and he smiled.
"Bye" he spoke, disappearing into the misty night. I quickly switched off the night and pretended that I was fast asleep. Actually I didn't have to pretend because as soon as I hit the bed I pretty much fell asleep. With many thoughts going through my head. What was I going to wear? Where is he taking me? Will I like the surprise? What's going to happen? I'm excited, is he excited?

A/N: Sorry for the short chapter, the date will happen in chapter 19. Chapter 18 will focus on Blaze shopping...again. And you will see some parts of Ashton's life. Maybe, just be patient my little lovelies.
