Chapter 7: Karaoke Night!

Blaze's Dress

I looked at the dress in excitement. I was definitely eager to go on this double date. Teysha also picked out these beautiful pair of shoes that matched the dress perfectly. I slipped on the dress and shoes. 

"Let's straighten your hair!" Teysh giggled.

I groaned. "Noooo! I hate straightening my hair, it makes it longer and it looks weird"

Teysha raised an eyebrow. "Then, why do you have a straightener?"

"If I'm in the mood of doing my hair then...y'know" I murmured. Teysha rolled her eyes and smiled. "C'mon, let me do your hair and Teysh you up"

I smirked, holding in a laugh. "Did you just say 'Teysh you up'?" 

She ignored me and began straightening my hair. After fifteen minutes of torturous hair straightening, she began to do my makeup, with dirty rose lipgloss and using eyeliner to create thick wings on my eyelids. She contoured my face a little and applied mascara. I had long, thick eyelashes so I didn't need fake eyelashes. As for my eyebrows, they were slaying so I didn't really worry about them. I grabbed my red purse and waited for the car. Everyone else was in the car, waiting for me. I was nervous. I saw Zayne stare at me, up and down. He was in the backseat of the car with a girl. She had golden brown hair and the sweetest, chocolate brown eyes. She was beautiful. Her hair was short and wavy, she wore a black tight dress. Her mate was just as gorgeous. He had jet black hair and dazzling, green, eyes that stared at me. 

"Hop in" The guy said.

I opened the car door and jumped in.

"Yeah, thanks" I answered, giving him a sweet smile. Zayne cleared his throat, it seemed to grab everyone's attention.

"Blaze, meet Adam and Paige" Zayne spoke. I greeted them both and we soon started driving.

"Can I put the radio on?" I asked.

"Sure" Adam replied, focused on the road. I blasted the radio, listening to 'Side To Side' by Ariana Grande. I sang along, so did Paige. It looked as if she was trying to impress Zayne, but his eyes were on me. I had a voice when it came to singing, I didn't want to sing for a career, however. Adam cheered me on and Zayne clapped with the rhythm. We soon arrived to the where the double date was taking place, I thought we were just going to eat dinner at a fancy restaurant. Boy was I wrong. It was a karaoke night. I smiled in awe. This was practically the best date I had ever been on, and it hadn't even started yet. I was able to study Zayne clearly. He wore a red, plaid shirt and white trousers with black shoes. I watched as Paige went an intertwined her hands in his, I could feel a bit of jealousy stir inside me. Adam was very sweet and pulled my chair out before I sat down.

"You look beautiful" Zayne mouthed at me. We soon ordered, and we had our drinks. We had a brilliant view, plus we were right in front of the stage. 

"So, who's next to SINGGG! IT'S KARAOKE NIGHT LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!" The man yelled, getting the audience cheering. Zayne started pointing and saying my name, Adam started too.

"C'mon Blaze, you can sing!" Paige cheered. I eventually gave up and went on stage as the whole room was cheering me on now. I took a deep breath deciding what I wanted to sing.
