Tammy: Chapter Nine

'HAPPY BIRTHDAY!' We shouted and Ryan smiled, he looked at the watch I got him and grinned.

'Wooow, where did you get money for this?' I tapped my nose and he laughed and put it on his wrist. He leaned in and kissed me, Chloe started coughing and we broke apart.

'So digusting. Tammy you made me not do that stuff infront of you with Dante so please just lowe it.' I laughed and she handed Ryan a card. He smiled and took it out her hand.

'You didn't have to get me anything you know Chloe.'

'Yeah trust me I know.' I laughed and shook my head at her, Janay was sitting on me and playing with spare wrapping paper. Ryan opened the card and like five £2 coins dropped out, I frowned and Ryan picked them all up.

'Oh £10 thanks,' He said and Chloe smiled like she'd just won something. I rolled my eyes, who the hell does that? Ryan left the room to put his stuff away and Chloe came and sat in his place.

'I must say this place is nice! His mum must have money to be paying for you lot to live here.' I smiled and looked around, it had only been a week since I'd moved in with Janay and so far it had been good, it felt good to be independent instead of relying on my mum to supply me with things. She said she'd always be there if I needed anything and I didn't need to be afraid to ask.

'So... aren't you going to tell me?' She asked.

'What? What are you talking about?' I asked and she laughed.

'You know... what are you gonna wear for him later.' I raised my eyebrow and then I clocked onto what she was talking about.

'Oh right, I didn't think of that. We're going out for his birthday remember so I just didn't think to buy anything.'

'You should have asked me! Just ask Dante the things-'

'PLEASE. PLEASE. MY EARS.' She started laughing and I scoffed, she picked up Janay for me and I said I'd be back in a minute. I went into our bedroom and he was sitting on the bed, he looked up and smiled at me patting his lap. I sat on him and he kissed me.

'Thank you Tammy, I didn't really want you to splash out on me to be honest.' I shrugged.

'I wanted to, you deserved it after all you've done for me.' I smiled and wrapped my arms around his neck, he pressed his lips onto mine and pulled me backwards onto the bed. I didn't realise Dante was standing by the door because we were kissing so deeply. I heard him clear his throat and I jumped off Ryan.

'Sorry to interupt. Happy birthday Ryan.' Dante said and Ryan nodded.

'Thanks.'

'Its cool, aye Tammy let me talk to you a minute.' I looked at Ryan and he kissed his teeth and left the room. Dante sat next to me and looked at me.

'Can you please be safe, I know you've got your own flat now so you lot can do your business whenever but I really don't want another Janay just yet.' I rolled my eyes, my mum kept reminding me everytime she called! I'm not stupid, I knew how to use protection. I was stupid when Janay was conceived but that's different, I'd matured.

'What if I'm pregnant now?' I said and Dante's eyes went wide. I started laughing hard and he kissed his teeth.

'I'm joking!'

'Aye don't play when it comes to stuff like that, just don't have sex until your married Tammy. I don't want anymore mini Janay's.'

'Okay Dante! I could say the same to you, you freaks.' He winked.

'Well that's how I do, it's good having one girl to keep me focused.'

'Good, just don't mess her about she's worth more than that.'
