Tammy: Chapter Eleven

"So what you would keep the baby even though you've seen how much struggle I've been through?" I asked Chloe on the way home from work. Don't worry she wasn't pregnant, we were just discussing if she was what she would do.

"Now you say that no! My mum would fucking slaughter me and my dad would kill Dante."

"Then be more careful! You lot are brave still doing it without protection." She rolled her eyes, okay we'll see when she gets pregnant. I just didn't want her to end up like me or worse, a 17 year old with a 9 month old baby. It wasn't exactly ideal. I wanted what every other girl wanted to grow up, have a good job, get married and then have kids but it just seemed to reverse on me.

"Look Tammy, it was just two times we did! It doesn't matter anyway, you're so lucky I was stocked up on the morning after." I remembered, if she didn't give that to me I would have been screwed.

"Mm... I think I'm just not going to have sex until I'm 20." I said and Chloe started laughing, I looked at her weirdly.

"What?"

"You Tammy? Okay! Ryan would probably force you."

"Nooo, he's not like that. He's not Dante."

"Whatever, he would. Boys are beasts."

"Mhmm... whatever you say love." I said and we crossed the road to get the bus, I was just getting so tired now from having to go college and then straight to work afterwards then going home to look after Janay. It was stressful but it was all a part of being a mother. I never thought I'd be saying that at this age but stupidity took over me and now here I am. I gave Chloe a hug and got on my bus, I got off and walked up to the flats and unlocked the door. Once I opened it I could hear Janay laughing and I smiled. I kicked my shoes off and put my bag down, I walked into the front room smiling and saw Janay sitting on what I thought was Ryan's lap. He turned around and I screamed, my eyes widened and he looked at me weirdly.

"Tammy... Tammy why are you looking at me like that?" I blinked hard and then looked back at him, I thought I saw Adrian. I slowly shook my head, he was turning me insane. I thought I was seeing him everywhere, it was starting to worry me.

"Sorry... erm, never mind." I said and picked Janay up kissing her on her forehead. She was actually starting to get heavy, it was weird because it felt like just the other day I'd had her and now I was doing it without Adrian when in the beginning I thought I'd have him. I guess things change. I gave her back to Ryan and left to go and get changed. Once I finished I sat on the bed and Ryan came in the room.

"Well hello to you too Tammy." He said and sat next to me.

"Oh sorry, I'm miles away... I'm so tired." I said resting my head onto the pillow and sighing. Ryan climbed ontop of me and started kissing my neck, I really wasn't in the mood. I moved away from him and he frowned.

"What now ?"

"I just told you I'm tired."

"Yeah but Tammy you've been like this for two weeks now, ever since we had that argument." I rolled my eyes, why did he have to mention it?

"It isn't because of that Ryan, I'm just really tired and stressed out."

"But why? I'm looking after Janay, Adrian isn't around-"

"It isn't Adrian! Let's just not mention him anymore, he's banned. I don't even want Janay knowing his name." He nodded and got off me.

"Look Ryan I don't mean to push you away it's just-"

"Tammy, do you even like me? Honestly?" I looked at him as if he was retarded, what the hell? Of course I did, what was with all of these questions?
