Chapter 3: Erica.

My shaky hands slid down and touched the scar, the feeling of the bumpiness caused tears to swell up in my eyes. The most insecurity I had was this scar, I never felt insecure until this scar appeared on my body. I jumped when I heard the knock on the door causing me to quickly grab my robe slipping it over my body before the door opened revealing Xander.

I put my lips in a line, grabbing my toothbrush putting toothpaste on it before scrubbing my teeth, avoiding eye contact as he walked into the bathroom.  I tensed when I felt his head against my back, his chest pressed up against my wet hair as he reached for his toothbrush before he stepped away from me, grabbing the toothpaste and brushing his own teeth.

I spit the foam out of my mouth, reaching for the towel and wiping my mouth, quietly walking out of the bathroom letting out the air I was holding into my lungs.

I headed over taking out my nightgown, throwing off my robe and slipping it over my braless body, placing my wet robe into the laundry basket. I turned off the light, walking out of the closet as I yawned covering my mouth, heading towards the comfy looking bed where Xander was laying in on his phone.

Swallowing the saliva that was stuck at my throat as I walked towards the bed, moving the sheets opened as I slipped in, tucking myself in before laying my head against the fluffy pillow. My eyes caught the name of the person he was texting to see Erica's name.

I bit my lips, moving the sheets a little before turning my back to him. The sound of him placing the phone onto the nightstand was heard before the bed shuffled as he lightly tugged the sheets.

I sighed, turning around to come face to face with him as his eyes were shut closed. I held my whelp when his breath brushed against my skin, my body couldn't help but turn around once again. "Stop moving." I heard him utter, causing me to freeze when his breath tickled the skin on my back.

I sighed, fluttering my eyes closed hoping that sleep would come over me quickly.

I ruffled my hair as I finished getting ready for the day. I placed my straightener and makeup bag into the drawer, grabbing the perfume on to table and spraying it on myself. I walked out of the bathroom, my eyes instantly caught Xander who was still fast asleep.

I quietly made my way out of the room, shutting the door slowly behind me before turning around to see Savannah in complete tears holding her phone tightly to her ear. "You can't do this Lucas!" She cried, holding her head. "Lucas, please!" She begged, my eyebrows furrowed as I walked closer to her. "Don't hang up the phone..." She sobbed, pulling the phone away from her ear, glaring down at it with a waterfall coming down her face.

My feet slowly took me towards her as I stared at her with sympathy. "Savannah?" I called out causing her to freeze and look over at me before launching herself into my arms and becoming a sobbing mess.

"He left me." She sobbed out, as the wetness of her tears pressed against my shoulder. I rubbed her back up and down. "He broke up with me." My heart broke for the girl.
