Chapter 19: Birthday.
Savannah dropped the cream packet onto the marble floor causing us to wince at the same time when we noticed the cream went everywhere onto the ground. She cringed at the cream onto the floor as she looked at me apologetically. She sucked in a breath picking up the cream and throwing it into the trash.
"Maybe you should do it by yourself." I nodded in agreement.
"I believe so too." She laughed as I continued to whisk the ingredients I had mixed all together.
I huffed grabbing the flower and added more into the ingredients since it slightly needed more. "When is Xander coming home?" Savannah questioned, I looked at the clock.
"Three more hours." I responded, biting my lip not knowing if there was going to be enough time. "Let me put this in the glass pan then we'll set up the backyard." She nodded her head.
I put the ingredients into two separate baking pans before grabbing the both of them and sticking them into the oven. I clapped my hands together looking over at Rose who had entered the kitchen. "You both set up the backyard I'll watch over the cake."
"Alright. Thanks mom." Savannah kissed her mom's head as she grabbed my hand dragging me towards the backyard.
I grabbed the rose pedals that were placed into a plastic box, Savannah set the table while I put the rose pedals onto the ground leaving a trail. I grabbed the tiny candles putting them around the table, walking back inside I grabbed the popcorn bowl and chocolate bowl walking back outside placing them onto the table.
Savannah brought the watermelon and strawberry bowl with the chips bowl setting it onto the table. I walked back inside when I noticed every table and the main table was prepared. I headed towards the cake that Rose had set out, walking over washing my hands before grabbing another pack of cream and continued to make it with all the little chocolate balls I had made to put on the cake.
I grabbed both cakes sticking it on a tray and stacked them up onto each other to make it into a long cake, slightly shredding the side of the cake to make them even. After I was done with that I put the cream on the cake as I hummed lowly, smoothing the cream out as I poured the chocolate icing onto the cake to make a drip cake before creating the rest of the designs.
I backed up when I was finally done scanning the cake with a smile onto my face. I had put happy birthday onto the tray with chocolate syrup. "Oh my gosh." Rose gasped, as she looked at it with a bright smile on her face. "It is beautiful. You did an amazing job." I grinned at her.
"I did my best." She continued to stare at it in awe.
Savannah gasped looking at the cake with wide eyes. "Holy shit! You're a baker!" She shouted, looking down at the cake, walking to my side. "It's perfect! He's going to love it." She remarked, I interlocked my hands as she looked over at me. "He's going to come back home now. Go get changed." I bit my lip nodding my head.
I walked out of the kitchen heading up the stairs into our bedroom. I stripped off my clothes and grabbed the dress that was placed on the bed. (Outfit on top) When I slipped the dress on I walked towards the bathroom, curling my hair and adding a flower crown once I was done. I unzipped my makeup bag and added some to my face.
We decided not to invite people to come over since Xander doesn't like crowded areas nor does he want anyone at this house so we decided to set up this party and let us five to celebrate this party.
