Chapter 12: Stunned.

~Two Weeks Later~

It's been two weeks since we've been in Boston and ever since Rose had gotten her surgery. We were on the plane on our way back to California, my gaze stayed on the jet window looking at the beautiful clouds.

"So." Rose spoke up, snapping me out of my thoughts, looking over at Rose. "How is the baby?" She questioned.

My hand immediately went to my stomach, with a smile plastered on my face. "We went to the doctor while you were at the hospital, the baby is growing very healthy." I responded.

Rose was glowing and looked very healthy, much different to how she looked before the surgery. "It's a boy." Xander added sounding very sure.

Rose laughed, shaking her head. "And how do you know?" She tilted her head, with a smirk on her face.

He leaned back, crossing his arms as he looked at his mother. "I know." He smirked in response. I chuckled, crossing my own arms.

Rose smirked. "We'll see." She responded with a challenging tone.

Xander raised an eyebrow at his mother. "Are you challenging me, mother?" He asked, leaning forward.

She nodded her head. "You know I am." She chuckled.

"Please remain in your seats and buckle up we will be landing." We heard the Captain say through the speaker.

I held my stomach when I felt the plane dip, looking out the window to see us landing on the ground as it slowly stopped. I unbuckled myself the same time Xander and Rose did. We stood up walking towards the exit of the plane, Xander grabbed my hand before thanking the pilot.

He carefully helped me down the tiny stairs as the cold air immediately greeted us, blowing in my hair. He squeezed my hand as we made our way inside the airport. The butler immediately walked towards us. "Welcome back Mr. King." He greeted giving us a small greeting before taking our bags from us.

"Has my father asked anything?" Xander questioned, giving the butler a curious look as we carried on heading to the exit.

"He was wondering when you'd come back, he thinks you went on your honeymoon." The butler responded respectfully.

Xander nodded his head. "Good. Good." He muttered, as he glanced over at his nervous looking mother standing behind us.

We headed towards Xander's driver who was waiting patiently. The butler loaded the suitcases in the trunk as Xander opened the backdoor for his mother and I. Rose slipped inside first, with the help of Xander I slipped inside before he shut the door after me and slipped in the passenger seat.

I looked at a now healthy Rose. She was glowing and looked completely happy, it made my heart squeeze at her sight. "I can't wait to see my precious Savannah." Her voice cracking a bit as she had a teary smile on her face.

"I'm sure she will happy to see you too." Xander responded, as I reached over grabbing Rose's hand giving her a smile.

"Where will I see her?" Rose asked.
