Chapter 15: Meet The Boyfriend.
I sighed throwing my makeup back into my bag when I was done with my makeup running a hand through my straightened hair. I walked out with my robe around my body, walking towards the closet and grabbed my outfit I had already planned out before I showered.
I grabbed my outfit slipping it on. (Outfit on top)I tied my shoe laces before standing up and walking out of the closet my eyes fell on Xander who walked in running a hand through his hair. His whole entire face screamed stress.
I slowly walked up to him. "Are you okay?" I asked, putting my hand on his arm. He snapped out of his thoughts staring down at me.
"Everything is fine." He snapped coldly. I swallowed hard nodding my head as he walked past me sighing loudly taking a seat on the bed stripping off his suit jacket with an angry look on his face. He slowly froze when he saw me. "Something you need?" He asked coldly.
My heart stung at his tone, yesterday he confessed his feeling. I thought maybe he's changed his ways with me, but I was wrong. "No." My voice came out small with a mixture of hurt. I turned around walking out of the room leaving him in the bedroom alone.
My heart felt heavy at his coldness. I strolled down the stairs freezing when I saw Savannah and a young guy next to her, she smiled when she saw me. "Athena!" Savannah squealed rushing up to me. "Come let me introduce you to my boyfriend." I walked towards them.
"Hello." He greeted with a smile on his face.
I nodded my head at him as my greeting, Savannah smiled. "Athena, this is my boyfriend. Erin." She introduced. "Erin, this is my sister in law. Athena." I stuck my hand out and he grasped mine, shaking it lightly.
"Nice to meet you." I smiled at him.
"You too." We drew our hand back. "So..." He trailed, looking nervous. "Where is Xander?" He asked, nervously. Savannah bit her lip, as I sucked in a breath.
"He's upstairs, he'll be down for lunch." I answered. "Why don't you two go to the living room. Rose and Ryder are there." Savannah nodded her head.
"That's a great idea. Let's go meet my mom." She said, excitedly. She grabbed his arm dragging him to the living room with a bright smile on her face as his was nervousness and scared.
I crossed my arms went towards the kitchen, biting my lip wondering what I should cook for lunch. My mother's ravioli Casserole was one of the best and she taught me how to make it, since it was one of my favorite food she made.
I grabbed all the ingredients and set them on the counter. I sighed grinding the cheese until it was sliced into tiny pieces. I jumped when I heard the fridge door close turning my head to see Xander with a water bottle in his hand.
His eyes landed on me causing me to look the other way not saying another word as my heart stung at his cold eyes. This is our new beginning...i'm guessing. I tensed when I felt two strong arms around my waist and a kiss to my shoulder causing me to slowly stop and set the block of cheese down.
"I'm sorry." He whispered, against my hair.
I closed my eyes tightly. "Xander." I turned around looking at him. "Why were you so cold?" I asked, he looked down at me guilty.
