Chapter 5: Sick?

Slipping on my heeled ankle boots after I was done changing into my outfit. (Outfit on top) I sprayed perfume before exiting the bathroom to see Xander on his phone with someone talking angrily. Once he woke up he got this call and since then he's been angry pacing around yelling at the workers on the phone.

I walked towards the bedroom door opening it walking out to see Ryder coming up the stairs with an angry look plastered on his face. "Is he in there?" He asked when he came towards the bedroom.

I slowly nodded my head. "Yeah." I answered. He nodded patting my shoulder before walking into the bedroom shutting the door after himself.

I sighed walking down the stairs heading towards the front door not bothering to eat since I was meeting Ella at her house. I walked towards the driver. "Good morning ma'am." He greeted, with a bright smile.

I returned a small one. "Morning to you too." I felt my phone vibrate but ignoring it. "I was wondering if you could drop me off somewhere." The driver nodded his head.

"You don't have to ask." He chuckled. "Where to?" He questioned opening the backseat for me.

"River street." He nodded his head. I got in as he shut the door behind me before he got into the driver's seat then drove off.

I put my head against the window feeling something rise in my throat again, swallowing it down before closing my eyes feeling the coldness of the window against my forehead. I opened my eyes again noticing we arrived at River Street. "Just stop here. I'll walk the rest of the way." The driver nodded. "Thank you." I opened the door getting out making my way past some people.

A ball came towards my foot, looking up smiling at the little kids playing. "Here." I gently kicked it towards them.

"Thank you, miss." I smiled at them before walking away and went towards Ella's house, taking the steps before knocking on her door.

Stepping back waiting for her to open the door. The door unlocked revealing her with food in her mouth I chuckled. "Hey." She said with mouthful.

"Swallow then talk." I scolded before stepping in. I pulled her into a hug. "It's good seeing you." I let go of her as we made our way towards the kitchen.

I took a seat at the same time she did looking at the food scrunching my face up when the smell of eggs hit me. I gagged holding my mouth. "Are you okay?" She asked worriedly, handing me water.

I put my hand on my forehead. "Yeah, yeah." I repeated, gagging again. "I have a stomach bug, threw up this morning." I took a few sips of the water.

She sighed drinking some of her tea. "How is life in that stupid mansion?" She asked changing the subject. I leaned back crossing my arms.

I shrugged at her question. "Kind of saw something." I responded, She looked at me confused. "I saw him kissing his girlfriend." I played with my rings.
