"Stuie! Where did i put my keys!?"
You call out to your roommate Stuart.
"THEIR ON THE COUNTER FOR THE 100TH TIME." He yells back from the shower.

"Hurry up we don't want to be late!"

"Sorry were late guys but someone over here took to much time in the shower." You shot Stuart a look and he threw his hands up in defense.

"Hey, not my fault Y/n/n woke me up late" He was just playing on your nerves. You brushed it off and got to work.

You and Stuart had known each other since freshman year and have lived together since you started college. Now your doing a internship together.

All day long you and Stuart were messing around with each other.

At one point you went up behind him and covered his eyes. "Stuie define cold" He chuckled and removed your hands from his face.

"No such thing, just a absence of heat." You ploped down on his lap. "Yay! A+ for Stuart!" He smiled and kissed your cheek you giggled and pushed his face away.....

[A few hours later]

Everyone was leaving the office, your group was the last because you were just cleaning up a bit.

You Stuart and Neha were the only ones left and Stuart went to the bathroom.

"So how long gave you been dating?" You choked on the drink in your mouth. "W-what?" You stuttered out.
"You guys aren't dating?" You quickly nodded your head yes.

"Honey you need to jump on that quick!" You were so puzzled.

"I've seen the way you look at each other, how he looks at you. Y/n that boy is in love with you and your in love with him."

She was crazy...

"No that's insane. Stuart only thinks of me as a friend."
She just laughed and went home
Stuart. Love me? Ppssshhhhh. If only...

You'd loved Stuart since the moment you laid eyes on him, but he didn't think of you the same.

"Hey where did Neha go?"
You looked over your shoulder to see Stuart was back.

"She went home. Let's do the same because I hate this place." He chuckled and the two of you walked to your car.

"Shit I forgot my jacket, I'll be back in a sec."

He got in the car and started it while I ran inside.

When you got inside you turned your head to see Stuart waving at you like a idiot.

Perks of Windows literally everywhere.

You grabbed your jacket and turned to leave.

"Hey Y/n" you jumped.
When you turned around you saw Gram comming out from behind a wall. "Gram you scared the shit out of me."

As he got closer you noticed he was wobbling around and he smelled heavily of alcohol.

"Gram" you said calmly "are you drunk?" He burst out into laughter "maybe just a tad" he said holding up two fingers.

He was now right in front of you.
"You know Y/n your vvvveerrryy pretty" he said looking right at you.

"Here let me go get Stuart to help me."

You turned around to run out into the parking lot but he grabbed your wrist and pulled you back against him. "Noo don't get him. We can have so much fun with out him." He said breathing his liquor breath in your face."

You started struggling.

One of his hands pinned yours down while the other was All the way up your shirt. "Gram get off of me!"

You kept fighting but he was to strong. "Gram stop." He wouldn't.

Then, in the blink of an eye he was off of you and on the ground with a bleeding nose.

"she said stop." Stuart said pulling you to him......

An hour later the cops had taken Gram away and you were on your way home. Neither you or Stuart said a word the whole ride home.

When you got back to your two bed room apartment he led you to your room and told you to get changed while he got you somthing to eat.

When he came back with a sandwich you were already in your pjs and tucked into your bed. He left it on the night stand and went to walk away but you spoke first.

"Stuart?" He turned around in a flash.

"Will you stay with me." He nodded and climbed in to your bed.

You turned around and snuggled into his chest. "Thank you."

He looked down at you. "For what?" He said while he played with your hair. "For stopping him. For saving me"

He laughed a bit. "I'll always save you y/n. I love you."

As soon as those words came you of his mouth your brain had decided to take a leap of faith and suddenly his lips were pressed to yours.

He didn't respond at first but then he slowly started kissing back.

Once you pulled away you said the first words that came to your mind. "I love you too." He smiled and kissed you again.

You spent that night just laying there with each other. Then the next morning you told Neha she was right, everyone else was happy and when you walked in together holding hands you heard Billy shout.

"It's about damn time."
