"If I didn't know any better, Hawlucha, I'd say you love Greninja."

Honestly, he hadn't even planned on eavesdropping. He'd been on his way to find Hawlucha for a training session when he overheard the conversation. As soon as he heard Hawlucha's response, he felt himself freeze in place, unable to move an inch even if he had wanted to. All he could do was stand there and listen as his teammate went on about him.
"It's just-he's perfect, you know? He's better than I could ever be. Don't look at me like that; you're only going to argue because you don't like him. But Greninja, he's just...he's wonderful, Arceus, is he wonderful and he puts up with me and everyone else. I think I've known for a long time that there's something special about him."
