Chapter 14 (Mistakes)

Tessa's POV

I woke up at 9:30 am and saw that Jake was still sleeping, I didn't want to wake him up so I just left him in my room, I went to the kitchen to make breakfast. As I got downstairs I saw a note saying "Hey Tessa, I and your mother will be going on a business trip. Sorry if it's so sudden, they said that there has been an emergency. Well we'll see you soon. Love Mom and Dad." So my parents aren't here so I have the house all to myself. While I was making breakfast I saw Jake walking into the kitchen while rubbing his eyes.

Tessa: "Morning"

Jake: "Morning" he said in his cute morning voice

Tessa: "Want me to cook you breakfast?"

Jake: "Nah, im good"

Tessa: "So, how'd you sleep?"

Jake: "Good"

Tessa: "Yah know, I really missed our conversations"

Jake: "Yah, me too"

Tessa: "Btw, my parents aren't home, they went on a business trip that was called early in the morning. So we have the house all to ourselves"

Jake: "Can we hang out today?"

Tessa: "Sure"

Jake: "But can you show me around? I dont really know this place"

Tessa: "Yah, no problem"

(Silence came in the room)

Tessa: "I have to get ready. See you in a bit"

Jake: "Yah, I'll get ready too"

I got into my room and took a shower.

Jake's POV

I woke up and was wondering why Tessa wasn't in bed. I went downstairs and saw Tessa cooking breakfast. She offered me some but I wasn't hungry. We had like a short conversation then she said that she'll get ready for the day. I did too. I was in Tessa's room lying on the bed until I decided to change. I took off my shirt when Tessa got out of the bathroom.

Tessa: "Woah, put some shirt on!"

Jake: "It's not like you've never seen me like this before"

Tessa: "True"

Jake: "Do you like what you see?" I said walking towards Tessa. She blushed and looked away.

As I walked over Tessa, I held her waist and pulled her closer to me. I kissed her for 10 seconds until she broke it.

Tessa: "This isn't right"

Jake: "What do you mean?"

Tessa: "I don't know, it's just.... it didn't feel right"

Jake: "Why doesn't it feel right?"

Tessa: "I DON'T KNOW OK!!!!" She said as she stormed out of the room.

Jake: "TESSA! TESSA! WAIT!" I said wearing my shirt then chased her.

Tessa: "What do you want Jake?" She said crying

Jake: "No no no, Tessa don't cry please" I said wiping her tears away

Tessa: "Can you please just give me an alone time?" She said walking away

Jake: "Tessa wait!" I said as I grabbed her arm

Tessa: "Please Jake" she begged as I let her go

She went back to her room while I sat beside her door worrying about her.
