Chapter 10 (Bad News)

Tessa's POV

I woke up and saw that Jake was still holding on to me so I woke him up.

Tessa: "Jake! Jake! Wake up"

Jake: "What?" He said waking up confused

Tessa: "You have to leave"

Jake: "Why?"

Tessa: "Because-" Jake cut me off

Jake: "Oh yeah, I remember, well I'll get going" he said going out of my room

I was thinking if I should forgive Jake, then I got the answer.

Tessa: "JAKE WAIT!"

Jake: "Huh?"

Tessa: "I thought about it and-" Jake cut me off again

Jake: "And what???"

Tessa: "I forgive you"

Jake: "Really!!!" He said excitedly

Tessa: "Yes Jake I forgive you"

Jake: "OH MY GOSH! Thank you so much for forgiving and believing me" He said hugging me

We hugged for a solid 15 seconds. We then kissed for 10 seconds. We laid down again on the bed in each other's arms because it was still 9:30 am

Jake's POV

I can't believe that Tessa forgave me cause I don't know what I'd do without her. We fell asleep again and I woke up at 11:35 am. I didn't wake Tessa because she looks so peaceful. I left her a note saying that I'm going home. I got home and took the shower.

*After the shower*

I got a text message from Tessa saying to meet up with her at V-cafe

I saw Tessa waiting for me in one of the tables so I approached her. I don't know why but she looked sad.

Jake: "Hey Tessa, what's up?"

Tessa: "Hi jake, we have something to talk about" she said sadly

Jake: "What's wrong?"

Tessa: "I got a call from my dad in Fresno and he said that they didn't know that my sister has stage 2 lung cancer"

Jake: "Does that mean your leaving me?"

Tessa: "I'm sorry Jake but I have to"

Jake: "But do we have to do a long distance relationship?"

Tessa: "That's the problem, weight have to take a break"

Jake: "Are you breaking up with me?" I said sadly

Tessa: "I'm sorry Jake but for what I know long distance relationships never work, this might be the only way"

Jake: "Ok, when are you leaving cause I wanna spend much time as possible with you?"

Tessa: "I'm leaving tomorrow at 3:00 am

(This means today but if it is passed 12:00 am it is already the next day which means tomorrow if you get it)

Jake: "So it's still early, wanna hang out" I said smiling but deep down I'm heart broken

Tessa: "Sure, where are you taking me?"

Jake: "Wherever you want"

Tessa: "How about a walk in the park"

Jake: "Sure"

Tessa's POV

While we were walking at the park I saw Jake looking sad

Tessa: "Jake, is anything wrong?"

Jake: "Nothing's wrong why are you asking?"

Tessa: "Nothing it's just you look sad"

Jake: "I'm sorry it's just that I'm really going to miss you"

Tessa: "I'm going to miss you to Jake and you know that"

Jake: "How about to let our minds of this problem, let's watch a movie"

Tessa: "Ok, what movie are we watching?"

Jake: "Secret"

Tessa: "Awww" I whined

Jake's POV

I wanna watch a scary movie with Tessa so I could spend more time with her

*After the movie*

Tessa: "Why did you choose a scary movie? You know I hate those"

Jake: "I just want you to snuggle with me"

Tessa: "That was cute"

Jake: "I tried"

Tessa: "Don't worry, it's cute"

Jake: "Thanks, btw it's getting pretty late, want me to drive you home?"

Tessa: "Sure"

*While Jake is driving*

Jake: "Hey, want me to drive you to the airport later?"

Tessa: "It's in the middle of the night, I could just take the user"

Jake: "No, it's ok, anything for you"

Tessa: "That's sweet"

Jake: "So... yes?"

Tessa: "Sure"

Jake: "So what time do I go to your house and get you?"

Tessa: "Around 2:00 am"

Jake: "Ok, btw we're here"

Tessa: "Ok....ummmm.....goodnight"

Jake: "No, I'll just walk with your to the door"

Tessa: "Ok"

We walked out the car into her door. We said our goodbyes for the night. We hugged for a solid 20 seconds until I broke the hug then looked into her eyes then I kissed her. We kissed for 5 seconds. I then went home. I didn't get any sleep cause my mind was on Tessa.

It was already 1:45 am so I got ready and went to Tessa's house. I texted her saying that I was by her house already and she said that she'd be right down. She went out the house then I started driving her to the airport.

The drive to the airport was quiet until I broke the silence

Jake: "So how long will you be gone?"

Tessa: "I don't know yet"

Jake: "Ok, but always remember that I love you so much"

Tessa: "Don't worry I won't forget"

We got to the airport then I helped Tessa with her bags

Tessa: "So.... this is goodbye"

Jake: "I guess so"

Tessa was tearing up so I wiped it away then i looked into her eyes then we kissed for like 10 seconds. We then hugged for a long time until Tessa broke it

Tessa: "Bye Jake, I still have a flight to catch"

Jake: "Ok, bye" I said sadly

I watched Tessa walk away then I left. I got home but I didn't get any sleep cause remember what I said, I don't know what I'd do without her. I really miss her so so much
