Chapter 28 (Friends?)

Jake's POV

I saw Tessa kissing Kian and I don't know if they are dating or not. Tessa went in and I asked her even tho I know she's just going to ignore me.

Jake: "Where were you?"

Tessa remained silent

Jake: "You know never mind, you're not even going to answer me so why would I try" I said walking away

Tessa: "And why do you care?" She said annoyed

Jake: "Wow!" I said sarcastically and surprised

Tessa: "What?"

Jake: "Cause I didn't expect for you to answer me"

Tessa: "Btw, why do you even care?"

Jake: "Because I'm just curious, so where were you?"

Tessa: "I was on a date with Kian, you happy now?!" She said still annoyed

Jake: "To be honest I'm happy now"

Tessa: "Can I go now?"

Jake: "Sure"

Not gonna lie, I was jealous that Tessa is with another guy at the same time I was happy because I got to talk to Tessa again.

Tessa's POV

As I got into the house Jake asked me where I have been, I was hesitating whether I reply or not, but I got annoyed by him so I answered back. We had a short conversation until I went back to my room. To be honest, it felt good talking to Jake again. It was like 9:30 pm so I got ready for bed then went to sleep.

*Next Morning*

Still Tessa's POV

I woke up dearly in the morning and got ready for the day. As I got down, I saw Jake in the kitchen making pancakes so I asked him, and if you're wondering why I'm asking and talking to him again is because of last night

Tessa: "Morning"

Jake: "Morning. Want some?"

Tessa: "Sure"

He gave me some and we are. After we ate Jake started talking.

Jake: "You know I miss the sound of your voice"

Tessa: "What do you mean?"

Jake: "I miss you Tessa"

Tessa: "I miss you to Jake but I and Kian are dating now"

Jake: "So you're official?" I said sadly

Tessa: "Yah, but we can always be friends"

Jake: "Did you just friend zone me?" He laughed

Tessa: "Well I think I did" I laughed

(Awkward Silence)

Tessa: "Friends?"

Jake: "Friends"

We shook our hands agreeing to be friends again.

While I and Jake are talking, Kian texted me

*In the Text*

Kian: "Hey babe, can I come over?"

Tessa: "Sure babe"

*End of text*

I told Jake if it's ok if Kian comes over and he said that it's ok, usually I thought he wouldn't allow him to go.
