Chapter 11 (Accident)

6 Months Later

Jake's POV

I last got in contact with Tessa 3 Months ago then she never answered my calls or my messages to her. Today is usually the start of sem-break so I got a free time out of school. I was planning on visiting Tessa in Fresno so I would see how she's doing. I was planning on leaving tomorrow night to go to Fresno.

*Next Day*

It's already 7 pm and I decided to drive to Fresno to visit Tessa cause I haven't seen her in a long time.

*While driving*

It was already 7:45 pm and I was on the highway I was like 30 minutes away from Fresno. I didn't get any sleep today and I was so tired because I did so much things today like go to the gym, hang out with my friends, packing and other things. My eyes was trying to close but I tried to stay awake but still my eyes was trying to close for like a second. I then opened my eyes cause I heard a loud beep from a truck, I lost control in driving then next thing I know I was being took out of my car by people into an ambulance. I just tried to sleep it off cause everything in me just hurts so bad.

I woke up and looked at the time, it was already 11:30 pm. My head really hurts so bad so I had like a bandage in my head. I was looking around when I saw a girl sleeping on the couch when I realized it was Tessa. I tried to wake her up but I don't know why. Maybe I was just excited to see her.

Jake: "Tessa! Tessa!" I said with a weak voice

Tessa woke up then rubbed her eyes, she was confused

Tessa: "Huh?" She then realized I was awake

Tessa: "OMG! Jake your awake! Wait i'm just going to call the doctor" she said going out the room.

I was confused why Tessa was here but i just slept it of cause my head really hurts.

Tessa's POV

I was still in Fresno cause I don't feel like going home yet. I was last in contact with Jake 3 months ago then after that I didn't answer his calls or his messages, I don't know why but I still did it anyway. I was just in my room using IG when I got a call from an unknown number. I answered the call.

Tessa: "Hello, who am I speaking with?"

Guy: "Hello, is this Tessa Brooks i'm speaking with?"

Tessa: "Yes, and who are you?"

Guy: "That's not important now, but do you know Jake Paul?"

Tessa: "Yes, why?"

Guy: "He just got in a car accident"

Tessa: "WHAT?!?! Where is he now?" I said panicking

Guy: "He's at (says a hospital name) (sorry I don't know any names of hospitals in America)

Tessa: "Can I go visit him right now?"

Guy: "Yes, you can visit him anytime"

Tessa: "Ok, thanks for the info"

Guy: "Welcome"

I got ready as fast as I can and got to the hospital. I ran straight to the nurse's desk and asked her where Jake's room is, she said his room is 402, I ran as fast as I can to his room to see Jake sleeping with a bandage on his head. I cried silently so Jake wouldn't wake up. It was already late and I was tired so I took a nap. I heard someone calling my name and I was confused until I realized Jake was awake. I quickly called the doctor to say that Jake was already awake. The doctor went to his room, he told me that I wasn't allowed to go in so I just sat on one of the chairs in the hallway. I was so worried. Minutes have passed and the doctor went out of Jake's room.

Tessa: "Doc, is Jake ok?"

Doctor: "Yes he is, by now he just needs rest, btw, he can leave about 2 days from now"

Tessa: "Thanks Doc"

Doctor: "Sure, anything for my patients"

I went inside Jake's room to see him sleeping. I just let him rest and went home (it's already 12:00 am). I then slept cause I was so tired.

Guys I am so so so sorry for not updating i'm too stressed at school and I still have training cause i'm joining a varsity team and my school hours are 7:30 am - 5:30 pm
