Chapter 3 (Chance)

Tessa's POV

I was walking at the park when I saw someone I didn't want to see. I saw my ex Chance. I wish he didn't see me but just my luck he did. Chance approached me.

Chance: "Hey Tessa long time no see"

Tessa: "Yah, long time no see too"

Chance: "Btw do you have a boyfriend?"

Tessa: "No, why?"

Chance: "In that case, will you get back with me please, I love you."

Tessa: "You don't even love me, you cheated on me with Alex"

Chance: "Yah, I know but we broke up a week ago, plus everyone deserves a chance to start again"

Tessa: "But i'm sorry I gave you enough chances but you keep wasting those chances, in sorry I have to go"

Chance: "In anyway I will still win you heart even if I have to kill or hurt someone, that's how much I love you Tessa"

Tessa: "Please don't kill or hurt anyone just for me. Bye I have to go"

I walked away from Chance while he did the same. As I got home I got a text from Jake.

(In the text message)

Jake: "Meet me behind the school in 10 minutes"

Tessa: "Why? Its already late"

Jake: "Just go"

Tessa: "Ok ok"

(End of text messages)

I went to the school to find Jake and I saw him behind the school where he said he would be. While he was waiting for me he was playing a game on his phone, I think.

Tessa: "JAKE!!!"

Jake: "Shhhhh!!!"

Tessa: "Why" I said whispering

Jake: "There's a security roaming around the school, he might catch us"

Tessa: "Ok, btw what are we doing here?"

Jake: "We're going to explore the school"

Tessa: "But the door is locked how are we going in you don't even have the key"

Jake: "You're right I don't have the key but I know how to pick a lock"

Tessa: "Good"

Jake's POV

So when Tessa went to my house we kissed for some reason I liked that kiss, I think i'm having feelings for Tessa but I don't know if she likes me back because I used to bully her and i'm dating Alissa. I wanted to hang out with Tessa so I texted her and said to meet me behind the school. After 10 minutes she got to the school, she asked me what we we're doing here and I said we are going to explore the school. I start picking the lock until we got in cause I don't have the key. I was looking at Tessa because she looked sad.

Jake: "Why are you sad?"

Tessa: "It's nothing"

Jake: "It might be nothing for you but it's something for me, just tell me what it is, i'll listen"

Tessa: "Ok, well I just saw my ex Chance, he cheated on me a bunch of times and when I saw him he said he loves me and that everyone deserves a second chance and that he would kill or hurt someone just for him to be with me"

Jake: "Well i'm sorry to hear that." I said pulling her into a hug

We got into the 5th grade room classroom. We we're classmates back then but I still bullied Tessa that time. We brought back memories from that time.

Jake: "Do you remember that this is the corner where you always go when we bullied you?" I said pointing at the corner

Tessa: "Yah I do, btw why did you change all of a sudden?"

Jake: "What do you mean?"

Tessa: "Like before you used to bully me and now just because of the project and the time I went to your house and kissed you, you became nice to me"

Jake: "Because I realized that I was bullying the wrong girl and that I also realized that you're the most beautiful, kind hearted and many more to describe you, and I started growing feelings for you." I said as I walked toward her

Tessa: "What do you mean?"

Jake: "This might answer your question." I said as I leaned into a kiss. She kissed back. The kiss lasted for about 30 seconds.

Tessa's POV

I asked Jake why before he bullied and now he's not, he said that he started growing feelings for, I asked him what he meant and he just leaned in and kissed me. To be honest I liked that kiss for some reason. I think i'm growing for Jake, wait no, he used to bully me, but whatever I think I like Jake.

Tessa: "What was that?"

Jake: "That was the answer to your question. You asked me what I meant and I answered you with a kiss because I told you I like you, do you like me?"

Tessa: "I think I do like you, wait I don't, no I do like you"

Jake: "It's ok, I can wait for as long as you want but not that long"

Tessa: "What about Alissa?"

Jake: "I was thinking of breaking up with her"

Tessa: "Why?"

Jake: "Because I wasn't happy with her, i'm happy with you"

Tessa: "Hahaha ok, btw thanks"

Jake: "For what?"

Tessa: "For bringing me here and comforting me"

Jake: "Yah sure, btw when will we continue the project?"

Tessa: "When ever you want just call or text me"

Jake: "Ok, well lets get going it's so late already"

Tessa: "Tell me about it"

So we left the school and went our separate ways. As I got home I took a shower and brushed my teeth then went to bed. I kept thinking if I also like Jake or not.
