A couple months pass and the news reports now say a vigilante is running around at night in the city.
"Someone help me." A mother was being mugged.
"Come on let the purse go and you get to live. Got it." The muggers voice was scratchy and rough.
"You should leave her alone." A figure in all black was behind the mugger.
"I heard a vigilante roams these parts." The figure in black says.
"Like I will." The mugger goes to point the gun at the mystery figure but the gun is swiped away. The figure was in front of him.
"Y-you're the vigilante? I-i'm sorry for what I did." The mugger said.
"Are you apologizing? If you are then I don't accept it." The figure said. The vigilante punched the mugger in the face and then threw him into a wall.
"You couldn't beat me if you tried." The vigilante said. The mugger then charged at the vigilante but was only knocked back again. The vigilante then restrained the mugger to the ground using electricity.
"Cops should be here in a couple minutes. Are you okay miss?" The vigilante said.
"Y-yes thank you. Who are you?" The woman asked.
"I am a nightmare to crime. Cheesey I know but it's true. Well I will be off, keep safe." The vigilante jumped onto a building before the woman could say anything.
" 'The Masked Vigilante strikes again!' Man that is stupid." Drake said.
"You're not saying anything new." Ash said.
"I know but still, they can't use an actual name like Batman or Nightwing. At least something worth the vigilante name." Drake said.
"I know, now you know how I feel." Ash said.
"Yeah. Anyway anything exciting happen last night?" Drake asked.
"Yeah something exciting did happen, I punched a guy in the face." Ash said.
"Would the time of said punch be at like 1:37 in the morning?" Drake asked.
"Are you insinuating that i'm the vigilante?" Ash asked in a more over the top voice.
"I am insinuating." Drake said.
"Well i'm not, sorry." Ash said.
"Your black hoodie is out of your school bag." Drake said.
"Wait really?! You jerk." Ash said deadpanned.
"Ha you fell for it." Drake said.
"Shut up. Do you want shock therapy?" Ash asked.
"I'm good." Drake said. They then both laughed as they walked to school. Ash could tell that today was going to be good.
