Part 6

*Beep Beep* Ash's alarm went off as it was time for her to get ready. She jumped off her bed and got changed into more suitable clothes. She now had on a dark blue t-shirt with black jeans on. She had on her jet black converse. She then went and brushed her teeth and when she finished she looked in the mirror to see that some of the smaller cuts and bruises were gone. She decided to not put on makeup and then she ran down the stairs with a smile on her face.

"You appear to be really happy tonight. Does this have something to do with your date?"

"Of course it does."

"Well here you go." He hands her $120.

"Thanks dad."

"Anything. Do you need a ride?"

"No I'm fine dad but thanks." broth yet

"You're welcome." He looks at the clock.

"You might want to leave now then to make it on time." Ash looks at the clock and sees the time.

"Crap!"

"Run."

"See you dad!" She ran out the door and made her way to Nifty Fifties. It was a bit chilly but Ash had been in colder. She finally made it to Nifty Fifties at 6:25 and saw Alyssa waiting outside.

"Hey Alyssa." Alyssa turned and saw her.

"Hey Ash. Did you walk here?"

"Yeah."

"Don't your feet hurt."

"No. I have been running around a lot."

"Okay. Are you training for something."

"No. Just keeping myself in shape."

"Okay. Want to go eat now."

"Sure." They both enter the establishment and are told where to sit.

"Are you cold?"

"A bit but I'm fine."

"You sure?"

"Yeah, you don't have to worry."

"Okay." They then look at the menu to see what to get. By the time Alyssa was done looking at the menu Ash was done already.

"Do you know what you're ordering already?"

"Yeah. I come here often." A waiter comes over.

"Hello my name is Tom and I will be your waiter today. Can I start you off with some drinks?"

"I will have a coke and a vanilla milkshake." Ash spoke first.

"And I will have a Root Beer."

"Alright I will be right back."

"Wait, can we also get some cheese fries?" Ash asked.

"Sure. Be right back." Tom left.

"Cheese fries, Really?"

"Have you had cheese fries before?"

"No." Ash stared at her surprised.

"Are you serious?"

"Yes."

"You have been missing out. You can thank me after you try them."

"I will?"

"Yep."

"If you say so." Tom came back with their drinks.

"One coke and one Root Beer. Your milkshake will be out with the cheese fries."
