*Beep beep* The sound of a heart monitor was engulfing the small white room. An unconscious body was laying on a bed, an IV stand on her arm and shoulder covered in bandages. A man was sitting next to her worried out of his mind, afraid of losing her too.

"Please wake up, I can't lose you." His voice hoarse from crying. This person has been unconscious for a couple days. Her body was found in a room with an open chest.

"Excuse me, sir, visiting hours are up so you have to leave." A nurse came in and said that to the man.

"Oh okay, see you tomorrow Ashley." He kisses her on the forehead before walking out. Her body not reacting at all.

*Tick* The clock hit midnight and the room was pretty dark. *Beep beep* The heart monitor was still engulfing the room. Ashley still not moving on the outside but her mind was going berserk. She kept getting vivid images of losing her friends and family. They were either peaceful deaths or having them slowly tortured to death. The ghost she helped now bigger and having a body beating her to a bloody pulp. The two words "Last Hope" kept playing over and over in her head, until it all went black. Her mental avatar was all alone in pitch blackness.

"So you think you can beat me, child." The voice boomed from within the darkness, petrifying her.

"W-what do you want, why are you doing this?" Her voice was weak and scared.

"Doing what? Oh, the torture I'm putting you through. I can answer that, you could be a real pain to me so if I break your mind you won't come and challenge me." Its voice now coming from in front of her and the image of her nightmares appears. It looked female but had steel wings out of her back. Her black and red hair falling just before the wings. Her eyes were pitch black and reflected everything. Her outfit was red with many blades on it, each one covered in blood. Her appearance made Ashley feel small and useless.

"W-why w-would I ch-challenge you?" She couldn't stop stuttering

"You got hit by the energy from the chest. You may not realize yet but you got hit was a terrible act of misfortune upon me. The plus side though is that I'm back to being myself and I can finally get revenge on this pitiful race of ants." Her voice was cold, confident, and powerful. It made everything shake and Ashley's mind finally started to crack.

"P-p-please s-s-stop." Her voice quiet and frail.

"What was that? You have to speak up dear." Her voice overpowering everything cracking the mind once again.

*KRAKAKOOM* The sound of thunder filled the area and lightning started shooting everywhere.

"What is this?" She realized what was happening as she looked at Ashley's avatar. Her eyes were blue and electricity flowing out of them. Electricity was flowing through her body.

"Want me to speak louder? Okay, how is this, GET OUT OF MY HEAD!" Her avatar blasting the nightmare with all of her might, disintegrating her instantly.

"Never come back." Her voice is now full of confidence and power.

Ashley's eyes finally started to open in the real world, her body tired and sore. She slowly looked around to figure out where she was and trying to forget what had happened in her head.

"Looks like I'm in a hospital." Her voice was quiet and weak. She looked around for that remote with the nurse button. She soon found it on a table out of reach.

"Of course it is." Talking to herself. She tries to reach for it but she hurts herself in the process. Instead of trying more she sits there in the silence and darkness. A couple hour pass and she almost fall back asleep but a nurse comes in the room. Ashley turns and faces the door. The nurse walks over to find her awake.
