"So who are you taking to the dance?"
"Alyssa Flint."
"That's a nice name."
"It is." Ash then went up to her room and looked at the piece of paper. She flopped onto her bed and pulled out her phone.
'Should I call or text?' She contemplated what to do. She finally figured calling her would be the best option. She dialed the number and waited for her to answer.
"Hello. Who is this?"
"It's me, Ash."
"Oh hey Ash. I wasn't you expecting you to call so soon."
"Yeah well talking to you is the best thing to do. So whatcha doing?"
"Nothing much. I'm walking into my house. What are you up to?"
"Laying on my bed. Nothing good."
"Better than walking."
"True."
"Are you doing anything later by any chance?"
"No. Why you ask?"
"Well Monday's are Nifty Fifties least busy day and I was wondering if you wanted to go with me. Would you like to?"
"I'm free and I would like to go."
"Great then it's a date."
"Yeah." Someone starts talking to Alyssa.
"Sorry Ash I got to go. Stupid food shopping."
"It's okay. Wait what time should I be at the Nifty Fifties?"
"6:30."
"Got it."
"See you then Ash."
"See you." They hung up the phone.
"YES!" Ash exclaimed.
"Yes what?" Her father yelled from downstairs.
"I got a date with Alyssa tonight."
"Okay." Ash laid on her bed looking at her phone. She couldn't believe how she got so lucky, but someone had plans to hurt her.
Kate was walking out of school late because she had detention for beating up Ash and Drake. She noticed Pacifica.
"Why are you here P?"
"I want to talk to you."
"Why?"
"Cause I need you to hurt Ash for me."
"Why would I do that."
"You will do it cause I said so." She used her power on Kate.
"So what are you going to do?"
"I'm going to hurt Ash."
"Yes but not now, I will tell you when."
"Okay. Can I go now master." Pacifica liked the ring to that.
"You may. Continue your life as normal until I need you."
"Yes master." Kate then walked off.
"You did well Pacifica."
'Thank you. A meathead like her was easy to control.'
"I know. Good thing is her and Ash have an interesting past so she can hurt her.""
'How do you know?'
"I know a lot dear. I know how she lost her mother, I know how she has a good heart. I know how you love attention, how you love being in charge. I know i'm not wrong."
'Are you some kind of demon?'
"My dear i'm no demon. All I am is someone trying to rid of world of the poison that corrupts it. All I am is a hero who is trying to take down the villain and you are helping me."
'Okay. To think i'm helping a hero.'
"Yes, you are helping a hero. Now I should let you get back to your army making."
'Alright.' The voice left as Pacifica walked home. She felt proud to be helping a hero, but little does she know is that this "hero" is nothing close to the definition of the word.
