It was 9 o'clock and Ash heard nothing from my dad. She was worried about him.
"Have you gotten anything from him?"
"No. I can't even get into my home." Ash lays down on the bed. Alyssa puts the laptop on her dresser and goes into her closet.
"What are you doing?
"Looking for a sleeping bag just in case." She said rummaging through her closet.
"Just in case what?" Alyssa looks at her.
"In case you hear nothing from your dad." She turns and continues to look.
"Right, sorry I'm oblivious to things."
"Really?"
"Yes."
"Okay." She goes back to looking for the sleeping bag as Ash looks at her phone to see no messages from her father. Alyssa throws the sleeping bag at her.
"What was that for?"
"There is your sleeping bag."
"I see that but I don't have pajamas and we have school tomorrow."
"We are off tomorrow, inservice day remember?"
"RIght. Forgot about that." Ash blushed a bit for forgetting.
"I could tell. We can continue watching Jojo if that will help calm you down."
"It will."
"Can you explain something to me though?"
"Sure." Alyssa sat back down on the violet bed.
"Jonathan and Joseph are different characters right?"
"Yes, Joseph is Jonathan's great grandchild."
"Okay." They continue to watch the show but Ash starts to fall asleep. Her falling asleep just killed one of the people closest to her.
Alyssa woke up to see Ash almost falling off the bed. She grabbed Ash gently and pulled her back onto the bed. She looked at Ash and really looked at her. She noticed how her dazzling red hair looked like fire and how peaceful she looked when asleep. Alyssa finally got out of the bed and went to get breakfast. She poured two bowls of cereal and went back upstairs. She placed them both down on the nightstand and then shook Ash awake.
"5 more minutes."
"I have breakfast." Ash got up and remembered she fell asleep over Alyssa's house.
"I forgot I slept here."
"I could tell. Here eat some cereal." She hands Ash a bowl of Lucky Charms.
"This is my favorite cereal." Ash devoured the bowl of cereal quickly as Alyssa barely started.
"You hungry?"
"I'm always hungry." That made Alyssa laugh. Ash was able to hide her blushing, she thought it was the greatest sound in the world.
"Are you now?"
"Yes." She placed the bowl back on the nightstand and she checked her phone.
"Okay something is wrong. He hasn't responded to anything."
"Do you want a ride back to your house?"
"Yeah."
"Come on then." Ash follows her out of the house and to her car. They get in and Alyssa drives off. Alyssa notices the worry on Ash's face.
