Percy never really knew how much he loved Sophy until he saw her blow a hole through a monster's stomach. He smiled as the love of his life took a deep breath after delivering such an attack. The beast, once proud of his physical prowess, wore a confused and twisted painful look on his face as he crumpled into shadows.

Sophy looked over at Percy with a massive grin on her face. He turned red and hot. They closed the distance between them and embraced. Sophy leaned back to look into his eyes. "Well, that's the last of them. Good job you hothead." She planted a soft kiss on his lips. Percy's adrenaline levels fell fast, but his heart beat faster. He pulled away with a chuckle.

"Good job? Me? Ha! Sophy, you killed more of them than I did. Sure it was a team effort, but you didn't need me. You're a one-woman Kintaikan army." He nudged her shoulder as they began to walk home.

She blushed at the compliment. Percy found it adorable. "Maybe." She giggled, "but I'm not taking all the credit when we get home." She grabbed Percy's hand and pulled him along.

They climbed up the mountain for what seemed like ages. Percy wished he tried harder to learn to fly. His dad wanted to teach him to use fire to propel him, but Percy never really got the hang of it and gave up a little. He didn't mind too much though, Sophy was with him, and he couldn't be happier.

At last, they reached the summit. In front of them, sprawling for miles, was a high-end complex. It was a haven for Kintaikans. The place Percy knew as home for 18 years.

Standing at the door was Sophy's brother, Aki. Even though he had a smile on his face, the evening light gave him a sinister look, which wasn't helped by the two scars running across his face. Mementos from his time fighting out of hell. Percy always wished he could've kicked Katsuo's butt for sending Aki there.

Aki's hair and clothes were charred and messy as if he'd run through a burning building, then took a tumble down the mountain. Oddly enough, his skin glowed in the auburn light of the setting sun, uncharred, perfect. Regardless, he seemed to be in a good mood. His black wings were held high, and upon seeing the two, a warm smile grew on his face. He walked over, slightly limping. Only now had Percy noticed the gash on his leg.

"What happened to you?" Sophy asked, trying hard not to laugh. "You look like a mess, and your leg." She leaned down and began to manipulate the energy around his leg, healing it.

"Ha thanks sis, what would I do without you?"

"Probably not heal as fast as everyone else mister half human." Sophy jested.

"Ha hey! Half human and proud. Though these wings are a pain sometimes, still proud." Aki chuckled. "Anyways, Persephone and I had to deal with a few fire Drakons."

He pulled out a too from his pocket. A 7-inch dagger like incisor laid in his palm, slightly bloodstained. "This is what caused the gash. Thought I'd give it to you." Aki tossed the tooth to Percy, who caught it with ease. Percy loved getting spoils from any battle, especially from ancient or otherworldly creatures.

Percy looked it over, his face lighting up with excitement. "This tooth...it's just a baby tooth and its 7 inches! Those drakons must've been massive, adults being even more so!" He pouted sarcastically. "Lucky. We just got some trolls." He looked at Sophy. She found him adorable when he pouted like that.

She wrapped her arms around him, making him blush. "Well, at least they were a rarer variety." She said kissing his cheek. He turned to face her, intent on kissing her, when Aki spoke up.

"You two are basically soul mates. Too cute, go ahead I won't stop you." He chuckled.

"Aki!" Sophy blushed and pulled away from Percy, flustered. She covered her face, Percy looked away flustered himself.

"Aww, it was just getting good." Aki joked. He wrapped his wings around his sister. Almost like he swallowed her up in his feathers. He winked at Percy.

Aki stepped back, and Sophy looked calmed down, but silent, all except for a few heavy coughs. They seemed more pained and heavier than usual.

Aki's smiled faded. "Okay love birds, time to get serious. Sophy." She straightened in surprise. Aki took a deep breath. "You have a visitor."
