“Happy Birthday!” Everyone screamed as Cassie to the back of the house. The music was blasting and everyone was having a good time. Her and her boyfriend, Dante was hugged up. She kept looking around for Blaze but he never showed up. She decided to shake it off and danced with Dante. As she was backing it up, Blaze walked in with a very beautiful woman. She had on a pair of tights, a dress that hugged her curves and heels to die for. As soon as Cassie saw her and Blaze she stopped dancing for a while. She was shocked. She went back to dancing and tried to make Blaze jealous but it didn’t work. All the men there were staring the couple down and ever her father let it be known he knew her. He gave her a hug and acknowledged Blaze by patting him on the back. After a couple of songs, Blaze decided to dance with his date and she was really getting it in. She couldn’t keep her eyes off of them and kept competing with them. When she realized she wasn’t getting Blaze's attention she got frustrated. She left Dante and ran into the house. She threw a glass at the door and just sat on the floor. Dante decided to go wait for her outside before she decided to kill him.
As she got herself together, the woman came into the house.
"Hey, can you tell me where the bathroom is?" Cassie stood there looking her up and down. "Hello...the bathroom?"
"Oh my bad, it's right down the hall"
"Thanks"
"Hold on, your Blaze's date right?"
"Yeah"
"Oh so you guys go out or something?"
"No, why? You’re his girlfriend or something?"
"Nah, I just wanted to know"
"Oh, well know you do" The girl walked into the bathroom and a mischievous smile crossed Cassie face. Her father called her out so everyone could sing happy birthday. She was so happy and the night went perfect.
As everyone left, she kissed Dante goodbye. "Imma see you tomorrow right?" He asked between kisses
"Of course" She replied.
"Aiight, imma give you your real birthday gift" he gave a cocky smile
"Boy bye" She said fooling around.
"Be babe" He kissed her once more and left. She watched him pull away and then turned to see Blaze standing right there.
"Hey birthday girl" He said.
"Hey" She tried to walk pass him but he grabbed her hand.
"I get no love?" He asked opening his arms to give her a hug.
"Nah, hug your girl" She said giving him a cold shoulder.
"Wow, this is that little girl shit...I thought you would’ve changed but apparently you didn’t" he said shaking his head. She smiled and gave him the finger. He followed her to the backyard and went to his date. Cassie watched as he whispered something into her ear and she laughed hysterically. The woman looked at Cassie and rolled her eyes. She gave Blaze a hug and kissed him on the cheek and whispered something into his ear. He immediately looked at Cassie and she walked into the house. She decided not to let Blaze get to her. She took a nice shower and put her night clothes on looking at her gifts. She received over 2 G's and then she has one more card. As she opened it, it was just a letter from Blaze and his date, Shante wishing her a happy birthday and inside there were 200 dollars. She smiled and ripped the card p. She thought about ripping the money but decided she needed it. Her father then came in to talk to her. He gave her a key to keep around her neck. It was beautiful around her neck and she promised to never remove it.
