Chapter 7🌟

Nathan's POV
For the past years in college, there hasn't been any girl who had captured my heart. True, I'm a handsome guy and tons of girls drool over me but I haven't found any girl capable of stealing my heart... But there comes Emily.

Emily and I met in college. I actually noticed her on the first day of school when she was talking to her best friend. We hardly talked even after her screaming drama with me.... That was embarrassing!!. Soon after, word got out fast that she liked me. Initially I took it with a pinch of salt owing to the fact that i was handsome and cute 😉. But weeks later I began to find her attractive.

She was this sweet and quiet girl, different from the rest. She was also beautiful and brilliant. I got all these through observing her. But there was a problem. It seemed to me that the more I drew closer to her, the more she drew farther from me. Like she was running from me. Wasn't she the one who started having a crush on me?? So why this strange behavior come on..!!??

I then decided to stop talking to her altogether and so far it seemed to work as we didn't talk to each other for years!! Little wonder it surprised me one day when Emily came up to me. I was talking with a friend of mine and immediately she came, my friend excused himself leaving me all alone with her. I'm so going to kill that jerk, I thought. So what now?
"Hey can I speak with you?",she said.
