That night he did end up bringing me my towel. He took me home that night and was silent the whole way. He didn't say a single word. He only muttered 'goodbye' when he dropped me off at home.
I wasn't for sure why he was quiet but I assumed it was because he was trying to deny his feelings and thoughts for me. Our friendship was moving fast and I'm sure he thought so too.
I'm not that type of girl if you know what I mean.
I'm a virgin, will be until I get married.
I never saw the ideal in one night stands. They always said that there were no feelings involved but I know for sure that's not true. One way or another someone will develop feelings for the other person. It's inevitable.
Just like falling for Kol.
I'm not in love love with him. I just like him a lot, maybe a bit too much. One thing I can't forget is that he's not the normal human guy, he's a freaking vampire for god's sake.
After he dropped me off I went to straight to my bedroom. I flopped onto my bed and shortly fell asleep.
__________________________My boots clattered onto the hard flooring as I stepped into the grill. I walked to a booth and sat down.
Elena was supposed to meet me here but it looks like she will be a tad late.
I opened the menu and scanned through the meals. I finally decided on a double cheese burger and fries with a Pepsi.Looks like my lunch won't be very healthy. It was far from it.
Elena was supposed to be here at six p.m. and it's 6:10 right now. I'm not very patient, never have.
Five minutes Later, i heard Elena's voice in the grill. I turned around so she could see me.
She made her way to the seat opposite mine.
"So, I heard Kol's giving you the silent treatment?" Elena asked curiously.
"It's none of your goddamn business!" I yelled.
"Fine, fine, don't get so defensive about it. What's up with you two anyways? Are you guys like together together?" she asked while wiggling her eyebrows up an down.
I choked on my drink. How could anyone have thought we were dating. We were simply fiends or strictly friends there was a difference between simply friends and strictly friends.
Strictly friends was friends and nothing else was allowed. Like talk of dating or flirting.
Now simply friends was just casual. Easygoing, like the flow of a river. Goofing around, joking with each other no worries of anything else.
Kol and I were more along the lines of simply friends.
"No Elena, we're not dating" I stated the obvious in a bored tone.
"Oh so you are. OMG!" She freaked out.
She thought I was being sarcastic, really. I could literally bang my head on a wall right now.
I sighed and laid my head on the table.
Elena kept talking until I heard her say that Kol was here.
I say up straight and looked at the bar. Kol was sitting there with Klaus at his side while a blonde girl was nonstop flirting with Kol. I could tell he was bored and nodded his head and pretended to listen to her as she ranted.
Our eyes met and I couldn't drop the gaze. He got up and walked over to me.
"What was up with you the other night Kol?" I asked.
He frowned and then sat next to me at the booth. Surprisingly Elena was still there and made her wye to beeline tithe door.
"We'll I guess I'll see you later Clara. Um...bye" she said awkwardly as she left the booth. He then got up and sat across me.
"I'm waiting for your answer. You know silence is not recommended. It'll piss me off." I said angrily to scare him but even I knew it would not phase him.
