"Bri, you know that we're not going to meet R5, right? We've lived in Cali, what? Our whole lives? We haven't even seen a star-in-waiting."

I tried to ignore that Southern accent Alexandra, my best friend has. I gripped the steering wheel and gritted my teeth. "Alex, I told you for the millionth time. We are not going to Get Shaved to see R5. I just want some shaved ice. Is it that hard to believe?"

Alexandra scoffed beside me. "Rigghhtt. Like that time we drove 2 hours to San Diego to 'get some sun'. Or that time you made me go to that club - The Breathing Room - 'because they have good music'? Hon, you just want to run into R5."
