Meaning: Hoping for Something Else In Japanese
Elena's POV
After court, which was very long and full of talking, Tang would be sentenced fifteen years jail time for kidnapping and attempt for murder or something. I don't know politics.
BTS and I left the courthouse and walked back to the van that would take us to the BigHit studious. We weren't going back to Taehyung's place, at least, for now.
Once we got there, we entered the lobby and everyone plopped down on the sofas and couches. Everyone instantly got onto their phones.
I was a bit nervous to sit near Jungkook, but I did and awkwardly sat still. My phone is at Taehyung's place...
There was a gasp from Jungkook and I blinked at him. He noticed me and I stiffened up where I sat.
"Um, what are you looking at?" I asked in Japanese.
"Eh..," Jungkook muttered. He just showed me his phone, and I couldn't help but catch his pretty nails. But he kind of shook too much that I wanted to help steady him. I just didn't have the confidence to touch him.
"Read the Headlines!"
"Famous K-Pop Star Kim Tae-Hyung was reported to the hospital! Bystanders say that it was because there was a shooting at Pak Seong-su's mansion. Mr. Pak Seoung-su and his family has not been taken into custody but turned to court. A man named Park Tang Chaeyoung has been found guilty of kidnapping a young lady whose identity is anonymous and states that the daughter of Park Seoung-su was involved in a deal. Both Pak Dasom and Park Tang were both guilty but Pak Dasom and her family have only been put on house arrest. The rest of the BTS members' are fortunately safe."
I ignored the rest of the talking because I'd knew that stuff already. A.R.M.Y were really supportive, and I at least found comfort in that.
"Wow...," I muttered, and Jungkook set down his phone to the left of him. I heard the back door open and I turned, pretty sure everyone else did too.
"Cheyenne-ah...," Everyone said in unison. She waved to all of us and walked over to Rapmonster and the others. I turned to Kookie.
"Thank you for saving me, Jungkook-ah," I said, smiling widely.
Jungkook returned the smile and only nodded. We then stared at each other for a weird amount of time, and then we looked away. I sighed and suddenly thought out of the blue.
