Meaning: The Trip in Japanese

Elena's POV

"I can't wait! Do you think it will look like an anime there?" I joked.

Cheyenne laughed, "Maybe!" She said.

Both of us were laughing now. I couldn't wait to see Japan, it was always my dream to go there. Ever since my sister, Nanette(I like to call her Nana), told me about going to Japan after my graduation, I tried so very hard to learn Japanese.

I looked out the window. This wasn't my first time in an airplane, but it still felt like a dream. The clouds were so close. I felt as if I could just reach out the window and touch them. But I knew that the clouds would just fade away.

I felt a little hungry so I stood up and opened the little shelf thingy whatever you call it, and grabbed out my backpack. I scavenged through it and grabbed out yellow pudding with brown at the top. It was very anime-like, even the spoon!

Since I was going to Japan, rather live like it too. I've always wanted to live in Japan anyway.

I stepped off the stairs and looked at the world around me. Japanese words I could understand on boards that pointed directions. The airport smelt really fresh. It was a bit chilly too. So many faces that were Japanese, I was captivated by the sight of everything.

"This....is so awesome!!!" I exclaimed.

My mouth was wide open, I could imagine how stupid I looked with my wide smile, but I couldn't help it.

Cheyenne followed behind and she too gasped with excitement. I couldn't wait to see what Japan was all about. The things that I couldn't wait most was that you didn't really need a car to get to the shops in Japan. You could easily lose weight too, and I needed that most. I was so excited that I couldn't hold still and began running everywhere.

"Wait! You can't--," Nana shouted after me, but I ran and ran.
