"What is this place?" I asked him confused, looking around at the old looking arena.

"The arena I used to train in with my father before..." he said, stopping halfway through. I was curious as to what he was going to say about his father.

"What happened here?" I asked, not wanting to push the subject.

"Well as you can tell that this arena hasn't been used in a while.... It's because this used to belong to the previous Warlord...." he said, once again trailing off near the end.

"You mean the one that was defeated not even 5 years ago?" I asked, still a little curious about the subject of this arena. Something about it set something off in Mark.

"Yea. Now enough about the past of this place, we have to train" he said, clearly having enough of my questions. I simply nodded before he grabbed my arm again and we were suddenly in the highest point in the arena.

"Oh, god" I said quietly when I saw the drop. This sure is going to be fun now isn't it.

"It's ok, just breathe. You'll do fine, just concentrate on flying when you drop," he said grabbing both my shoulders. I stared at him for a moment, contemplating his words. I knew I wasn't in any danger at all but the height still made me feel anxious.

"Alright, I'm ready..." I said after taking a deep breathe. I then took a leap off the edge, feeling the wind rush past me. I saw Mark appear on the ground below me and took a deep breath as he sped towards me.

I was going to leave it when my instincts kicked in and I felt myself using flight to hover slowly above the ground before softly landing on the ground. For some reason a rush of excitement coursed through me and I couldn't hold in my joy.

"YES! I DID IT FIRST TRY!" I yelled, letting all my joy out with every word.

"You sure did, I told you you'd do fine" he said with a massive grin on his face before giving me a hug. I hesitated at first before hugging back, a smile resting on my face. Is this what true happiness feels like? I always got that rush of excitement when in a mission but I never felt like this...

The next hour or so was spent with Mark teaching me how to take off from the ground and stay balanced when flying. Of coarse, I already knew how to but it was fun messing around and pretending to fall just for Mark to catch me.

But of coarse, I messed up less often and began to get tired after doing tricks and stuff. I wanted to show Mark I was indeed a fast learner, even though I already knew everything, and help him and his team with the tournaments. They weren't that far away from now and there was still a lot to learn about them and Mark.

"Ready to leave yet?" He asked me as I did mini tricks in the air.

"Yea, I need to rest anyways" I responded, kinda relieved for it to be done. I needed a coffee and needed to check in with Cry. I landed and he grabbed my arm, teleporting us into the living room of our apartment. For once it actually felt more like a home.

"I have to go meet up with someone." He said, pulling out his phone.

"Stay safe," I said, heading to my room. He gave little chuckle before teleporting away and I couldn't help the smile on my face. I didnt even know it was there until I'd brought Cry into my room and he gave me a frown.

"What?" I asked as he laid down his usual devices.

"You're smiling," he said blandly. He wasn't wearing his mask so I saw the look he'd been giving me and felt my smile drop.

"I hadn't noticed," I said, lightly touching my lips.

"You don't smile unless on a mission. What is up with you?" Cry asked, giving off a look that showed he wanted answers. But I didn't have those answers for I was confused myself.

"Technically, I am on a mission," I said, hoping he'd give up and change the subject.

"Stop avoiding the question. Why were you smiling?" He asked again. I felt his presence press against my mind and blocked him out. I'd had enough people trying to get in my head. Well, Mark was mostly the only person but Felix would always intrude on my mind and I hate it. I had no privacy.

Cry frowned and gave me a glare, his mind pressing against mine even more but I shoved him off. That's when he snapped. His eyes flashed red and he let out a low growl in anger.

"Let me in or tell me why you were smiling!" He said, his voice harsh. But it only made my own anger boil.

"I DON'T KNOW WHY I WAS SMILING OKAY! I DIDN'T EVEN REALIZE UNTIL YOU POINTED IT OUT! SO CAN YOU PLEASE LEAVE ME ALONE!" I shouted. Thank god he'd put up those devices already or everyone would've heard me.

"It's because of Mark isn't it?" He said quietly. His voice returning to a calm one as usual. Shit, I let my guard down in my anger. I need to control that.

"I...," I didn't know how to answer. Was it because of Mark? I did feel... happy, with him. Was it because of him?

"Don't catch feelings for him, but this can be helpful. You can get closer to him this way and you might not have to sneak around as much. You have three days to find out who your target is though, or Fe will step in," he said monotonously.

"Fe?" I asked, seeing his eyes widen slightly. "Looks like I'm not the only one who needs to watch there feelings."

"You know the rules as well as I do. No relationships. It gets in the way," he said, about to pick up his devices but I spoke up.

"Doesn't stop the want for one." He gave me a sad look before gathering his devices and leaving. I looked to the ground in thought. Am I really getting feelings for Mark? Nah, it's all apart of the mission...
