Seventeen is currently out of Seoul for their pre-tour shows for five days now. Despite the boys' absence, you and Aerin remained busy, with her on-hand mixes and stuff for the next albumS.
You, as of the moment, are having breakfast with Aerin. You quietly watched as she literally drowned her cereals in milk. Very western.
"Yeodongsaeng, I miss your toast," Aerin said, while you remained sitting, not moving a single inch. "Yah, gwaenchanha?"
You seem to finally have woken up from the air gap, so you answered her quickly.
"Ne!"
Aerin uneasily laughed at your tensed reaction, "You sure?"
"Ne! Oh! N-ne," you answered, absentmindedly scratching your head. "Eonni, when are they coming back?"
"Four days? I think. Cheol's not sure either. They still have three districts left," she told you, before munching another spoonful.
"Oh." Based on what Soonyoung told you the day before they went busking (you don't know what else to call it), it's basically a road trip with no destination. For the first time, Seventeen went on unscheduled street shows, casually getting out of the car and performing wherever they see large crowds in the districts they pass through. Carats would be so lucky if they happen to see the boys just surprisingly perform right in front of them. ㅜㅅㅜ You're a bit envious.
"Why are you asking? You miss him, don't you?" Aerin teased you.
"I do," you admitted, suddenly remembering the last time you actually talked to Hansol. Two nights ago.
You flinched in surprise when Aerin gasped out loud. "Daebak."
"W-what is, Eonni?"
"You did not deny it! Heol. Change has come!"
"Ah~ jinjja, Eonni. It's normal to miss someone's bestfriend, isn't it?" You asked her, trying to ignore all the attached feelings you always get when you speak or hear or even think of that word. Bestfriend. Before the two of you parted back in the day of the prank, Hansol declared you, without your permission nor approval, as his bestfriend.
"What did you just say?"
"I said, you're officially my bestfriend now. So I expect you to do your duties because I sure will do mine. You want ramyeon? I'm gonna treat you. ^ㅅ^"
"W-waeyo?"
"What? I'm hungry."
"Idiot. I meant why would you want me to be your bestfriend, jinjja? Michyeosseo? (Are you crazy?)"
"Ani, just because. You cannot say no this time." You had rolled your eyes at him, remembering thinking to yourself that you'd have to settle with what he wants because:

a) he's the most stubborn human you've met aside from yourself; and
b) it's not like he likes you and would ask you to be his girlfriend. Not that it matters anyway.

You got back to the present when you heard Aerin's teasing voice.
"Whatever~ Bestfriend my ass~ The two of you should really be together, you know? You'll make it. I believe so."
You finished your ramyeon and got up to put your bowl on the sink. "Not gonna happen, Eonni. Give it up."
Aerin continued what she was saying. "For someone who's supposed to be head over heels with him, you're... I don't know, such a cynic? So calm?"
"Not a cynic, Eonni. I'm a realist. Besides, two months and counting, you know? Then I'm gonna fly~ back to where I came from and return to being a normal Carat. With their personal phone numbers. Haha. End of daydream. I'm gonna take a shower now, Eonni~ Please leave your bowl at the sink because I'll wash them later!~♡ Kamsahamnida!"
You playfully posed a heart with your fingers, leaving her just torn between laughing and rolling her eyes at you.
What a fine day.
Because you still got hours before Aerin drive you to the company for work, you took your dearest time in the shower.

A while later, Aerin knocked on your bathroom door. "Yeodongsaeng-ah?"
You turned off the shower to hear her clearly. "Ne, Eonni? I'll be out in five."
"Johda. You've got... um- visitors~ We'll wait for you downstairs, okay?"
"Ne. Gomawo~"
Visitors. Could it be... OH MY GOD- But then, who's the other one?
You quickly finished your bath and wrapped yourself in a robe, quickly going down the stairs to meet your visitor. Visitors.
"How's my favorite human?"
"BROTHER DEAR!!!" You quickly ran to his open arms, hugging him tightly. Damn, you missed him so much.
You looked around to see who the other visitor was and got surprised to see Soonyoung sitting patiently on the couch. You broke off your hug with your brother and turned to Hoshi, hugging him as well. "Oppa," you greeted him, still clueless as to why he's visiting you. "Oh-ohmo! Didn't you still have three cities left?"
"Aigoo, neomu giyeowo. Ne, we still got three left but I've finished my other attachments early so Managernim-hyung allowed me to go back to Seoul for the rest of the night. I'd have to fly back again tomorrow morning though," Soonyoung explained to you, softly pinching your cheeks in the process. You tried hard not to hyperventilate right there. You really did.
