Shawn. Great just what I needed. Oh, and he also came at the perfect time too. When we were talking about me having a crush on him. I turned around to see him smirking and I rolled my eyes. "Hello, Shawn, what would you like this fine afternoon?" I said, imitating a British accent. "I would like to escort the young maiden on a walk with me..." He said in a British accent and Damn, his accent blew mine out of the water. "I'd love to, good sir" He put out his hand and I held it as he helped me out of my chair. "Awww," said all the girl's at the table and I started blushing red. Justin however...Announced he was going to meet up with the soccer boys and left. Everyone shrugged and started gossiping about me and Shawn as we walked away...

Shawn's hand was soft and warm. His touch sent vibrations down my spine and colour to my cheeks. We walked to a willow tree and sat down, under the lush, emerald green canopy of leaves. A tense silence filled the air and I decided to break it. "So, why did you want to escort the young maiden this time? Do you want me to tutor you in Math cos I'm warning ya, I'm really bad" I joked and he chuckled. "I just thought that if you were tutoring me, I may as well get to know you..." He said softly "Oh, ok" was all I could say. Get to know me? My brain was sending warning flags at me saying that he'll butter me up, play me and through me away like last seasons trends. Yet my heart blocked out all those thoughts. I stared down at my hands, now waiting for him to break the silence...

Shawn POV

She sat there blushing which made me smile. She was silent as she looked down at her hands and a couple strands of her light brown hair fell across her face. My fingers itched to move them away. I couldn't help myself. I gently pulled her hair behind her ear, my fingers danced across her soft skin. Her rosy pink lips stretched out in a soft smile, I chuckled as I moved my hands away from her face. My eyes never leaving her lips.

Evelyn POV

He just stared at my lips. My face still tingling from his touch. Thoughts rushing through my mind yet one stood out. Was he going to kiss me?  I always thought I wasn't ready for this but in the moment I didn't care, I just wanted to feel his lips on mine. He lowered his face toward me, his face inches from mine. I closed my eyes waiting...

 Shawn POV

She closed her eyes as if waiting for me to do something. She wants me to kiss her I realised. My face lowered towards her's without my permission until I could feel her hot breath on my lips. It sent a shock through my body. My hand cupped her cheek and her hand held my neck. We both leaned in waiting for the impact and...

"Evelyn!" a voice called. Perfect timing. I pulled away from her quickly "Your friend is calling you, see you tomorrow" I got up and walked away thinking of the perfect moment that could've happened...

Evelyn POV

He walked away leaving me alone with...Chloe? "Evelyn! Hey!" she said "Oh, hi," I said, still on cloud nine because Shawn almost kissed me...NO, I SHOULD NOT BE HAPPY THAT HE ALMOST KISSED ME! I mentally slapped myself a million times before coming back to the conversation at hand. "So who was that?" she asked "Oh, no-one" I replied, blushing from the memory. "So I never got to thank you for the other day," she said softly "Yeah, how are you," I asked. "Still sad, I mean he was my life..." she said in a soft whisper. I heard the bell ring. "Oh, there's the bell...Got to go!" I said sprinting off back to class. Then slowed down realising Shawn was in my next class...
