Stepping out of the bifrost, I noticed I was in a completely gold plated room, and upon a raised pillar stood a tall dark skinned man with Amber coloured eyes.

"Lady Freya, of Kehlgard. I most graciously welcome you to Asgard. I am Heimdall, the gatekeeper and the seer of all,"

"It is a pleasure to be of your acquaintance Heimdall," I say smiling.

The loud sound of hooves startles me and I see a group of guards racing towards me. Two of them came up behind me and cuffed me.

"Hey! What do you think you're doing? Let me go" I said. They have no right to restrain me.

"Sorry milady, King's orders. You have to come with us." One of the guards said, giving me no choice and putting a sack over my head.

"Fine," I said grunting. I could get rid of all of these guards within seconds, but I'll go along with it for now.

We rode for only a minute or two and continued to walk the rest of the way. I'll admit, it's a little hard when you can't see what you're doing.

We finally came to a stop and the opening of a large door became apparent to me. The pushed me into the room forcefully, me almost tripping over my own feet. They finally grabbed the back of my head and yanked the sack off, finally allowing me to see. After using a few seconds to adjust to the light.

I turned my head slightly towards the six guards surrounding me. I smirked lightly at the looks of confusion clouding their faces.

Without any warning, I ducked and swung my leg out behind me, successfully taking two of the guards off of their feet. Two more guards came rushing towards me, their swords aimed at me.

Well...shit.

I jump up and kick one of the guards in the throat, narrowly dodging the sword he had swung towards me, while tipping the hilt of the airborne sword towards another guard. Not to fatally hurt, just to injure enough for him to stop fighting.

Only two more to go. There weren't many options, so I opted for kicking.

I slid through the legs of one of the guards and quickly knock his legs out from underneath him, giving him a swift kick to the head and knocking him unconscious.

The last guard comes to a halt right in front of me, sword raised. I kicked him where the sun don't shine and head-butted him, knocking him out cold.

Finally. That wasn't as hard as I was expecting. Calling upon my elemental control of fire, I heated my body temperature and sent energy to melt the cuffs off of my wrists.

After a few seconds, I was free. Rubbing my wrists, I slowly take in my surroundings, finally noticing a group of regal looking people looking shocked only mere metres away from where I had just taken out six of the palace's guards. I widened my eyes, at their expressions. Some of disbelief some impressed.

I slowly walk down the remainder of the isle to the throne where the king resides. My battle attire does not seem to fit whatever situation I have managed to get myself in, so I magically change my outfit to a one shouldered orange dress, with my tiara laying atop my head, with black leather cuffs covering my forearm.

"Allfather,"I greet while bowing, "To what do I owe the pleasure of being taken captive by six of your guards?" I say with a slight smirk. The sword strapped my back urges to be held, so pulling it out feels so good in my hands. It feels as if it is meant to be there. Like I was the one destined to hold it.

I take notice of the people in the room with me. Odin, the King, a beautiful woman that I assume to be Frigga, Queen of Asgard. Along with them was a tall muscular blonde man with a red cape and a feather like helmet, alongside a younger tall, lean man with black hair and a horned helmet. I obviously got caught looking at him, because he soon smirked at me. Who's to judge me, he's very attractive. I deduct these two to be the Princes of Asgard. There are only four other people in the room. Three men and one warrior. All warriors I would say.

"You show a great gift of sorcery, young one," Odin finally says.

"But truly, that cannot be the reason I was summoned here," I just wish to know why I was here. Did I do something wrong?

I grew slightly annoyed by Odin's cryptic words, and felt the sword growing warmer by the second.

A number of gasps travelled through the large room, and I realise they must be looking at my new sword staring to flame up. They were all looking at me in shock.

"This," Odin starts, "this is why you were bought here today. You must have shown great warrior skills and courage to get this sword to be lifted by you. You have been the only one worthy enough of wielding it in all of the millenniums it has existed. And you have just successfully taken down six of my best guards. Therefore, on this day, I, Odin Allfather, protector of the nine realms, grant you the title of The Goddess of War, and the Goddess of Fire," he finishes.

Me? A goddess? Of not one, but two things. Two things I absolutely would be proud to be the Goddess of.

"I- Thank you, Allfather," I really don't know what else to say.

My eyes scan the rest of the room. Everyone is smiling at me with looks of encouragement, expect for the female warrior. She is glaring at me with hatred, and when I finally raise my eyebrow to question her, she just huffs and looks away.

"You may leave now, only if you wish," Frigga says sweetly towards me.

"Umm, may I ask a favour of you?," here I go, "I was wondering...if I might be able to stay here for a while, things are not the best at the palace at home at the moment."

"Yes, I suppose that would be quite alright," Odin says after contemplating for a moment, "Thor, show her to her new quarters here."
