The realisation kept coming back to me that I would never see Loki again. I would never see those deep green eyes staring into mine again. I would never get to see his mischievous little smirk.
I would never get to see Thor or Frigga again either. But the thought of them was nothing compared to the piece of my heart that belongs to Loki. A part of me died when I was whisked away to Midgard, knowing I would never feel his embrace again.
"Freya?" someone broke me out of my trance, "You're crying...are you ok?" Peggy asked.
I felt a dampness under my eyes, and a trail of tears stream down my cheeks, "Uh," I sniffled, "I'm fine, really," trying to dry my eyes.
Steve look at me worried, and Peggy looked as if she was going to further question me, so I decided to move over to where Howard Stark was controlling this flying machine we were in.
"Hey Freya," Howard said without moving his eyes from the screen in front of him, "What's up?"
"Oh nothing, I just miss someone. That's all," trying to push Loki from my mind.
"Oh," he smirked, "I see. Is this someone a boy?"
I rolled my eyes at his antics, "How'd you know?"
Before Howard could reply, Agent Carter interrupted asking him something to which he hummed in response before, continuing, "Hey Agent Carter, if we're not in too much of a hurry, I thought we could stop off in Lucerne for a light night fondue."
Peggy didn't respond. At all.
"I'm going to take that as a no then. Anyway, as I was saying, once this all blows over, I can show you a good time and cheer you up. Maybe even help you forget about whoever you miss."
Is he suggesting what I think he is suggesting?
"Yeah maybe," I mumbled, before the machine we were shook from being hit by something.
I quickly jumped up and made my way over to Steve who had just opened the door, "As soon as we're free, you turn this thing around and get the hell outta here!"
"You can't give me orders!" Peggy yelled back at Steve.
"The hell I can't! I'm a Captain!" Steve proclaimed before jumping out of the door.
I go to follow him a, "Wait," interrupts me.
"Aren't you going to wear a parachute?" Peggy asked with wide eyes, looking at me like I was crazy.
What the hel is a parachute?
"Uh...no. I don't see why I would need a...par...achute..?'
Without waiting for Peggy to yell at me again, I run and jump out of the door, loving the feeling of a relaxed free fall.
I zoomed past Steve, who had pulled a chord, and a huge white cloth thing, had emerged and was floating him down slowly.
He let out a small shriek as he saw I was freefalling with nothing to stop me. Except for myself.
I saw the ground getting closer, so I braced myself for impact.

I land on the ground in a kneeling position, one foot behind me, and one foot out in front, with one hand on the ground to help balance.
A small creator was left in the ground from me landing, but I shrugged it off, and hid behind a tree to wait until Steve came to the ground from his flying cloth thing.
