*** Chapter One ***

Matthew and Nick finished their first boy friend video together since being an official couple. Nick couldn't imagine being with anyone better than Matthew. Matthew was his everything. Nick swore to himself that he would do anything he could to protect Matthew. Steve welcomed Nick into the Lush life, along with Skin, Matthew's hairless cat.

Nick and Matt got closer the more time they spent together. Matt wanted to keep Nick forever. Maybe he was a bit obsessive, or controlling at times, but Matthew loved the way their relationship was going. Nick barely even noticed when Matthew was a little touchy. He passed it off as being a tad spoiled or just happy.

Steve noticed though. He noticed how Matthew would sit and pick at Nick for hours a night. Matthew would make up new house rules for Nick every so often too. Saying things like "I don't know if that actually looks good on you" Or "maybe you're not cute enough for those shoes". Things that could easily put someone down.

Nick would simply smile. "Okay honey. I'll wear my other ones?" Matt would nod with a smirk on his face. Nick honestly didn't mind. He would do anything to make Matthew happy. Steve as walking into the house when he heard yelling coming from the kitchen.

"I can't lose weight. I'm already too thin." He heard Nick say. "Babe, you need to lose a few." Matthew said. Steve was shocked to hear Matthew say that. Nick was already skinnier than Matthew. How skinny could someone be? "I- I'll try." Nick sighed. Steve shut the door, ending their conversation. "Hey." He said as he sat down on the couch with the Tv remote in hand. "Hey." Both Matt and Nick replied in unison.

Matthew was in the kitchen cooking later that night. Nick and Steve were watching trash Tv. Gossip, celebrities, and diet commercials. A commercial came on so Steve took the opportunity to talk to Nick. "How are you and Matt doing?"

"Great." Nick said happily. "Oh."

"Don't worry, I can help you find a girl friend or boy friend." Nick tried to make Steve feel better figuring he said "oh" due to jealousy of his and Matt's relationship. "That's not... Okay." Steve groaned. Being asexual was hard in a house full of gay people. They always thought Steve was lonely, but in truth, he just needed friends, a Tv, a job, and he would be happy.

Nick smiled as wide as he could. "You should meet my roommate Ellie, you would like her a lot."

Steve laughed. "Sounds good."

"Babe. Dinner's ready." Matthew stuck his head out from the kitchen. "Yay." Nick cheered. Steve stretched and decided to go out for a run. Matthew set the table for two. "Perfection." Nick muttered as Matthew wrapped his arms around his chest. "You're perfection." Matthew whispered in his ear. Nick turned around to kiss Matthew, but Matthew was sitting down at their small table already.

Nick was forced into the vegan diet, but he didn't mind too much. Matthew would help him lose a few pounds. Nick never saw himself as fat though, but if Matthew did then it was worth it.

"Was every thing okay?" Matthew asked Nick once he was done. "Yeah, it was great hun'." Matthew kissed him on the cheek and took their plates into the kitchen.
