(Niall's POV)
"What happened?" I asked as Harry and I sat on the sofa. His hair was soaked and dripping from the rain that had started while he was on his way here. I wondered why he was so wet, I thought he only lived a few minutes away? Maybe he had walked from his reservation. Wherever that was.
"Louis and I got into a fight and he locked me out of the flat," he explained, his thumbs twiddling as he stared at his hands.
"What did you fight about?" I asked. Harry and Louis seemed so close, but so far all Harry had told me about him was that they fought a few times.
Harry hesitated a bit before he answered. "Money."
"Money?" I asked. I knew they shared a flat now but I never stopped to think about how much money Harry might have. Is he struggling? Does he even have a job?
"Yeah. He yelled at me then told me not to come home," Harry said, this time looking at me. His clear green eyes held a bit of anger, but he didn't let it show on his face. I had seen Harry slightly angry the first day I met him in the taxi, and to be honest, if frightened me a little bit. Seeing him fully angry would probably make me shit myself.
I didn't know how to reply, so I just nodded. I waited for Harry to tell me more, but his mouth stayed glued shut. Not that I was surprised, though. We sat in silence on the sofa, the telly's volume low enough to just barely hear it through the speakers. I cleared my throat a bit too loudly, causing Harry's head to snap towards me.
I looked over at him, us locking eyes for a moment before he reached his arm out. He wrapped it around my shoulder as he scooted closer. I let my body fall into his side, my head finding the crook in his neck. "I like being close to you," he muttered quietly.
I smiled. "I like you in general," I replied. Had I really just said that? I hope I don't creep him out.
"What do you mean?" He asked, his thumb rubbing circles on my shoulder. I let my hand rest on the side of his stomach, opposite from where he had been stabbed.
I guess now's the time to be honest. "I'm falling, Harry. I've never felt this way about someone so fast," I almost whispered, my face going ruby red, even though he couldn't see me.
"I've never felt this way about anyone," Harry replied, his opposite hand sliding across his stomach to grab mine. "I really, really like you. I didn't know it was possible for me to have any sort of feeling for anyone."
"Even though I'm a boy?" I asked quietly. I regretted it as soon as it came out of my mouth, though. Harry immediately tensed beneath me. His breathing seemed to stop, making me pick my head up off his chest to look at him. He was staring straight ahead of him, his hand limp in mine and his expression blank. "I'm sorry," I quickly said.
He blinked once, but didn't reply. I suddenly felt very insecure. I removed my hand from his and stood up, muttering to myself as I walked away into the kitchen.
"Niall," Harry called after me. I ignored him. I should have known he didn't like boys. Maybe I was just an experiment. I ran a hand through my hair and exited the kitchen into the hallway.
"Niall," Harry called after me again, this time he was right behind me.
I sighed heavily and scowled at myself. "No, I'm sorry. I should have known you weren't comfortable talking about it."
"No," Harry said, grabbing my wrist. I flinched but didn't turn around, trying to tug my arm free. "I do like you."
"You should just go before you do something you'll regret later," I muttered harshly. I yanked my arm free from his gasp and headed towards the stairs. I was about to step onto the first stair, but Harry grabbed hold of my shoulders in his large hands.
He pulled me backwards off the staircase and spun me around, walking me quickly backwards until my back hit the cold wall behind me. I gasped a little at the slightly hard impact. His eyes were hard, but they held a hint of lust as his hands slid down from my shoulders to my hips. He pressed himself against me, causing me to let out a quiet moan at the friction. I have never felt this way in my life.
Not with any of my exes, no one. He pulled me closer and his lips attached to my neck, sucking roughly. My chest moved up and down against his rapidly, I was unable to control my breathing. I craned my neck slightly to the side, giving Harry more access to my neck. I winced a little as he moved his lips down and began sucking on a new spot.
That was defiantly going to leave a mark. Not that I mind. He started to back up a tiny bit, giving me goosebumps as the air made the wet spots on my neck cold. His brought his face back in front of mine, our noses almost touching and our lips only inches apart. His breathing wasn't steady either, our chests rubbing against each other as we breathed. My face was flushed a deep red, while his eyes still held the same lust.
I let my lip come in between my teeth as he studied my eyes with his own. His gaze quickly flickered down to my mouth, his face going cold again. I don't know why, but I was really turned on. I hope he couldn't tell, that'd just be embarrassing.
Harry's hand left my hip and shot up to my mouth, the pad of his thumb softly tugging my lip back out. "I told you to stop doing that," he said in a low, husky voice. It made my insides tingle and my face flush even more.
"Why can't I?" I asked in a challenging voice, but I tried hard to hold back a smile.
"Because it makes me want to do this," he began to lean in. My heart stopped all together. His breath pummeled against my lips, his eyes looking at mine as if to ask for permission. Then, he closed the space between us.
