(Niall's POV)
"Bloody hell, Niall. I forgot I don't know how to drive this car," Louis said, concentrating on the road in front of us.
"Just switch lanes, the highways empty," I said, leaning forward so I was almost beside Louis.
He looked at me quickly, doing a double take before scowling. "Put your seatbelt on, this might not work."
I sighed and sat back, buckling myself back to the seat. Louis let out a short breath before completely swerving the car sideways, causing Harry to almost fall into my lap. The tires screeched, but Louis quickly got them to shut up once we were in the next lane. He was driving directly behind the other red Camaro. "Holy shit," Harry mumbled.
Louis said nothing as he followed behind the Camaro carefully, driving forward a little bit at a time. I strained my neck to peer through the front seats, the street lamps creating enough light to see the other drivers nervous expression as he looked back and forth between our car and the road. "Lou," I said, eyeing the gas station that was just up about a minute ahead. "Do it now."
Louis nodded and stepped on the gas a little. The front end of our car hit the back end of the other, causing all three of us to jerk forward. There was a quiet thunk of the clashing metal, and I prayed silently that there was no damage done to the other car. "One more time," Harry spoke up. "I don't think he's going to stop."
Louis nodded, letting our car fall back a little before stepping on the gas pedal again. There was another loud clash, and another jerk forward. I thought I had whiplash for a second, but the feeling subsided. I heard Harry groan and looked over to him as he rubbed the back of his neck with a pained expression on his face.
"Sorry," Louis mumbled. "He's pulling into the station."
Sure enough, the car in front of us had it's signals on, the exit to the gas station leading off the road. The car pulled into it, us quickly following. It drove to a vacant parking stall, screeching to a stop and the lights shutting off. Louis did the same, turning to us with a warning look on his face. "Get down," he said.
Both Harry and I nodded and undid our safety belts, Harry motioning for me to move before sliding himself completely onto the seat, laying in the shadows, using his hand to signal me. Louis waited until I climbed on top of Harry, laying flat on him so I too was in the shadows.
"Niall, watch until I take the guy into the store. Then you and Harry quickly switch license plates and we're off. There's a little toolbox under the passenger seat," Louis explained, pulling out a small rectangular toolbox and putting it on the seat beside him.
I nodded, Louis giving us an encouraging look. He opened his door and stepped out, voices immediately sounding. He shut the door again, leaving the car in complete silence besides me and Harry's breaths coming out in puffs and connecting in the air.
"Here we are again," Harry said, a smile creeping onto his lips. "Except we're not standing."
I turned my head so my lips were hovering just above his. "You have a habit of holding me against you."
"It's the best habit I've ever had," Harry said quietly before placing his hand on the back of my neck and pulling me down to attach his lips to mine.
--------------------------------------
"Why is he taking so long?" Harry asked with a groan. I shrugged, staring down at his swollen lips with a smirk. We were still laying in the same position on the backseats of the Camaro, waiting for Louis to bring the man inside the convenience store. Muffled voices were still present just beyond the car walls, making Harry roll his eyes in annoyance.
