"Are you sure he'll be okay with this?" Harry asked from beside me, a worried expression on his face.
"It'll be fine," I reassured, though I wasn't exactly sure myself.
"What is Greg going to think when his little brother shows up in his driveway in a brand new Camaro?" Louis asked, turning the car on to a different street after I had directed him to.
"He'll just think my parents bought it for me," I replied, ignoring the tiredness that was fighting to close my eyes.
"What's he going to think when you show up with two strangers by your side, asking for a place to stay?" Harry asked, Louis nodding in agreement.
"You both worry too much," I told them. "Greg is chill. I swear."
"If you say so," Louis sighed. "I just don't want to upset him by invading on his man realm."
"Man realm?" I questioned, chuckling.
"That's what I call bachelor houses," Louis explained.
"Oh, Greg isn't a bachelor," I said, watching as Harry's head shot around to face me, Louis' eyes going wide as he glared at me through the rear-view mirror. "He's married. With a son."
"Are you fucking kidding me?" Louis exclaimed. "Oh jesus."
"What's wrong with that?" I asked, cocking an eyebrow. "Are you shy?"
"No," Louis said quickly. Harry laughed cockily, earning a loud yell from Louis.
"Don't worry about it," I said. "Denise and Theo are out of town for the weekend. I wouldn't bring you two there if they were at home."
Louis raised his hands in the air dramatically, as if he was praising. "Thank goodness."
"You're acting like a boyfriend scared to meet the parents for the first time," Harry chuckled.
"That's what you have to be worried about, not me," Louis replied, wiggling his eyebrows at him. "Hey, Niall, your parents are nice, right?"
"Go away," Harry muttered, his cheeks going red. Louis let out a loud laugh, but quickly stopped himself, leaning forward in his seat to squint into the rear-view mirror.
"What the-" Louis' eyes widened, whipping around in his seat. The car swerved sideways a little, causing me to yelp out in surprise.
"Louis!" Harry yelled, grabbing hold of the door handle to steady himself. Louis turned back around, getting the car back in control on the road before turning around again.
"Watch where you're going!" Harry yelled, leaning forward to shove Louis' shoulder.
"I know what I'm doing," Louis muttered. "Hold on."
Before Harry and I could react, Louis swivelled back around in his seat, and in one quick movement, jerked the car left onto a deserted street. Harry was thrown to the side, me smashing into the car door beside me. Both of us groaned in pain, Louis looking nervously in the mirror again.
"What the hell was that for?" Harry said, rubbing his shoulder.
"We have company," Louis muttered, stepping on the gas a little.
"What?" I asked, confused. Harry's eyes widened, turning around to look out the back window. I stared at him dumbfounded for a minute, completely unaware of what was happening. But, it all clicked when I saw blue and red lights scanning across Harry's face, creating a colourful glow.
I whipped around as well, seeing the police car sirens flashing behind us, the sound horns now present to the ears. "You've got to be kidding me."
"Niall, I thought you said the license plate switch would work!" Louis exclaimed, sweat dripping down the side of his face.
