The girl smiled at him, and he only looked at her with a confused expression painted on his face. She looked familiar to the boy, but he couldn't place why he knew her.
She had sat down with her lunch bag and started to take out her food and eat it. He looked at her wondering why on earth she was sitting with him. No one ever did.
When she finally looked back up at him, she gave him a look that said 'Don't stare at me and eat your own lunch'. It didn't look like it was meant in a mean way because she gave him a small smile after.
The boy, taking the hint, snapped out of his dazed expression and continued eating his lunch quietly, pushing his slipping glasses back up from the tip of his nose.
