The boy hurried into the building, almost missing the start of the school, but when he looked up when he was entering, he saw the girl who had sat with him a lunch the day before. She smiled and waved at him. He did his best to smile at her, but he walked quickly past her to his locker, after fully entering the building.
Arriving at his locker, he noticed another little, red paper heart, attached my a piece of tape on his locker. He took it off and opened his locker throwing it in with his backpack. Then he grabbed his books and headed off to class.
Walking through the halls he examined his classmates. Who would bother to put a little paper heart on his locker? None of them seemed to pop out at him to be the one who was doing it. The boy wanted to figure it out though.
No matter what it took, unless of course, if it was dangerous. He wasn't one for spontaneous thrilling adventures.
