Don't Be A Fool

Chapter Five

I look around and don't see Shawn anywhere. I grab my phone and text him.

Rose: Where'd  you go?

Shawn: I had to go to the studio early this morning. You were sleeping and I didn't want to wake you.

Rose: Okay, well Alicia comes home today so I have to pick her up from the airport 

Shawn: Cool, I'll see if Brian can hang out later today

Rose: Okay, let me know what he says so I can tell Alicia

Shawn: I will. I'll talk to you later, Andrew is calling me. 😉

Rose: Okay 😘

I cleaned up everything from last night and then went upstairs to get ready to go pick up Alicia and go out later.

I pick out a white crop top, light high waisted denim shorts, a cute flannel to go over, and my white converse. (A/n: Outift pictured above) I leave my hair down and I decided not to straighten it since its naturally wavy.

I grab my keys and head over to the airport to pick up Alicia. I text Shawn to let him know that I'm picking her up and he said that Brian can hang out.

I get off at the airport and go wait for Alicia. I look around and I don't see her yet. Then I see her coming down from the escalator.

"Alicia!" I yell and then her eyes light up when she sees me. "Ahh! Rose!" She yells and comes running up to me. 

We hug super tight and then I let go. "So much has happened!" I say. "I know you and shawn!" "Yeah and you like some one now too!" I say.

"I know!" She says and we hug again. "Come on, you can come hang at my place for a while. Shawn and Brian are going to come pick us up later to hang out." I say.

"Okay cool." "So how was dance con?" I ask as we walk out to the car. "It was so cool. All the girls there were so nice and the classes were amazing!" She says.

I look Orono the parking lot for my car and I see a guy with a camera and it looks like he's taking pictures of me. "Is it just me or is that guy taking my picture?" I ask.

Alicia looks to see what I'm talking about and shrugs. "I think he might just be taking pictures of the sky. It's really pretty right now." She says and I look and it is. 

Maybe he's a photographer. I blow it off and me and Alicia go to my house. We go to my house and my brothers are here. 

"Hey look it's Licia." Geoff says and hugs her. "Hey Geo!" She says and he laughs. "Hey Alicia." Ian says and smiles at her. "Hey Ian." She says and smiles back and then they hug.

"We'll be upstairs and then we're going to hang out with friends." I say and we go upstairs. 

I told her everything that happened with me and Shawn. I also told her about Dustin. She told me all about dance camp and she showed me one of her routines.

"Okay okay now tell me about this guy." I say and she gets really serious. "Okay well. It's kind of a funny story, but I don't know how you'll feel and-" she was interrupted by my phone going off.

"Hold that thought." I say and check it. "Who is it?" She asks. I sigh and show her the text from Dustin.

He says for me to come outside to my front yard. "I'm so tired of this bullshit." I say and get up from the bed. Alicia follows me outside but stays a bit at a distance.
