We arrive at the restaurant and the hostess showed us to where Joe and my manager Heather are waiting. (A/n: I decided to change the managers name)
Joe is sitting with his back towards me as we walk up to the table so I place my hands on his shoulders.
He turns around and smiles at me, but it quickly fades once he sees Shawn. He slowly stands up and looks at me.
"I invited Shawn because he was big help to me. I'll explain over dinner." I say and hug Joe.
He hugs me back tightly and I see Shawn pull out a seat and sit down.
When my hug with Joe broke he pulled me back in and kissed me passionately in front of Heather and Shawn.
"I missed you." He says and I smile. I can feel how hot my cheeks are getting.
"I missed you too." I say and smile.
"Okay you two. You can make love later, but right now I'd like to have dinner." Heather says and I laugh. I look at Shawn who is sitting in front of me and he looks a bit uncomfortable.
"So what happened that Shawn had to come help you?" This was the first thing Joe asked as soon as he sat down.
"Oh well I was on the subway and these guys kind of surrounded me and they were all bothering me. Asking me if I wanted to hang out with them and I was really scared because they looked dangerous." I look at Shawn and smile.
"One of them was sitting next to me and that's when Shawn came in and pretended to be my boyfriend and asked them if they could move so he could sit next to me."
"Oh how smart!" Heather says and sips on her drink.
"Yeah I saw how scared she looked so I just automatically jumped in." Shawn says and smiles at me.
"Well thanks man." Joe says emotionless.
Shawn and Joe nod at each other and we all order our meals.
"Okay Rose tomorrow you have a photo shoot for the Calvin Klein campaign you're doing." When Heather says this I sigh a bit.
"Joe can you go with me? The girls there are all so...snobbish and you know I don't like being there alone." I say to Joe and grab his hand.
"Babe I really wish I could, but I have a meeting and then and audition tomorrow." When he says this I nod.
"Okay. I can handle them." I say.
"I'm really sorry." He says and kisses my cheek.
"I'll go with you if you want. So you don't have to go alone." Shawn says and I look at him with a bit of a shock.
"Really? You're not busy?" I ask and he shakes his head.
"No. Tomorrow is my off day. It'd be cool to hang out with you again anyways. If you don't mind me going?" Shawn asks and looks at Joe.
I look at Joe too and he looks at me.
"No I don't mind." Joe says and then quickly looks away.
"Okay well I have to be there at eight." I say and Shawn nods.
"I can pick you up if you want."
"Yeah that's cool." I say and nod.
"Good now that's all sorted out we can eat." Heather says and I we all laugh a little.
I look at Joe and he looks lost in thought.
I hope everything is okay.
