Joe's POV
I slowly open my eyes and then squeeze them shut when the sunlight hits them. I open them again blocking out the sun with my hand.
"Look how cute!" "Oh he's awake." I look around at eveyone standing around me and Rose.
"What are you guys doing?" I ask quietly not trying to wake Rose. "Looking at you guys be in love!" Dove says and I laugh a little. "Go away." I say and lean my head back on the couch and close my eyes.
"Help me pick up." Maia tells KJ. Everyone starts cleaning up and then they all disappear somewhere.
I look at a sleeping Rose whose head is rested on the left side of my chest and she's cuddled up at my side.
She moves a little and then her eyes slowly flutter open. "Morning." I say and she smiles. "Good morning." She sits up and looks around.
"Where is everyone?" She asks and then rubs her face. "They were cleaning up and then they just disappeared." I say and she nods.
She grabs her phone and checks her messages. She sighs a moment and then continues scrolling through her phone.
"Oh shit. I have to get back to my hotel. I have a meeting." She says and then throws herself back on the couch and groans.
"Come on. I'll drive you back." I say and she turns her head and smiles at me. "Thanks." She says and extends her hands for me to help her from the couch.
I take her hands and pull her up and she runs her hands through her dirty blonde hair.
"Okay let's go." She says and I follow her from the room. As soon as we open the door to the hotel room we see eveyone stands out in the hall.
"What are you guys doing out here?" Rose asks and laughs a little. "Uh..." KJ doesn't know what to say and he looks at the others.
"We were just having a conversation." Thomas says and looks at Dove then back at us. "You know for a bunch of actors, you guys are really bad liars." Rose says and they all just laugh.
"So anyways. What's going on with you two?" Maia asks and points at the two of us. "Oh he's just taking me back to my hotel so I can get to a meeting." Rose and says and turns and smiles at me.
"Oh! Okay well you two have fun. I'll text you later okay?" Dove says to Rose and she nods.
"Bye guys." I say and give them all an annoyed look as Rose walks ahead of me. "Byeeeee!" They all say happily.
I just shake my head and follow Rose out to the parking lot of the hotel.
Rose's POV
Everyone was acting really weird when me and Joe left the hotel, but maybe they're always like that or something.
Joe is giving me a ride back to my hotel and we have the radio playing. All of a sudden There's Nothing Holding Me Back starts playing and I shift in my seat a little.
"Um...do you mind if I change the station?" I ask and Joe nods. "Yeah go ahead." He says and so I change it.
We arrived at my hotel and Joe laughs a little. "What?" I ask and look at him.
"No it's just that I'm staying at this hotel too." He says and I smile. "Really? How cool!" I say and he nods.
We go inside and I check into my room because I never got the chance to yesterday. The lady gives me the key to me room and me and Joe walk towards the elevator.
"So you're a new actress huh?" Joe says and I nod. "Yeah it wasn't a planned thing. I just audition for the movie for fun and got the part." I say and laugh a little.
"Wow you must be really good then for them to give a new actress such a big part." He says. "I guess I'm alright." I say and shrug.
"Where are you from?" He asks me as we walk out of the elevator. "I'm from Canada. Toronto Canada." I say and he nods.
"It's beautiful there. And the people are even more beautiful." He says making me blush.
We arrive at my hotel room door and I smile at him."Well uh.... Thanks for bringing me here." I say and he smiles and nods.
I turn around and unlock the door to my room and look over my shoulder at him and wave a little before he walks back towards the elevators.
I go into my room and set my things away. Then I sit on the bed and listen to the voice mail that was left to me this morning.
"Hey Rose. It's Shawn." He pauses for a moment and I hear him sigh.
"I know I haven't called or texted in a little while and it's just because I needed to think and I figured I'd give you some time too. To be honest I really miss you. I'm not gonna lie. I miss you like crazy and all I can think about is how stupid I was not to support you when all you've ever done is support me. You probably don't even want to talk and that's okay. Just listen."
There's a short pause and I'm still holding the phone to my ear.
"I'm not going to bother you anymore. Maybe you were right. Maybe we shouldn't be together because I would never want something to happen to us and it hurt or effect you in a negative way. I will always care for you and you'll always have a special place in my heart. It's kind of a bitter sweet thing because even though it hurts, I know you'll move on to bigger and better things. Find some one who deserves you and deserves all the love you have and can give it back to you in return. Anyways, I hope someday we could maybe be friends again because when your in my life it just seems better."
The message ended there and I'm crying at this point. What am I supposed to do? I love Shawn I really do, but I guess all of this happened for a reason right.
It hurts so much. It feels as if all of the hurt and pain is squeezing my heart so tightly and I just can't bear it.
I have to get over all of this. I have to get over Shawn.
